Oh my gosh. Northern Exposure is my all-time favourite show! So much so, that when I lived in Vancouver for a few years, I took a road trip down to Roslyn, Washington where it was filmed and stayed over Ruth Ann's store in a B&B and had breakfast at The Brick. Took pictures all over the place. Found all their houses etc. It was so much fun! They have all the seasons on Prime. You should totally watch them over the winter! Sherri would love it!

Wicked!! We also got our tickets last night! We have seen it live 4 times...NYC, Chicago and twice in Omaha, it is an amazing show! I agree with you Sherri about Arianna Grande I have said the same thing you did about understanding her but I, like you, am hopeful I love her in it. 🤞

Thank you for encouraging people to vote. My mom used to say if you haven't voted and you're eligible to vote then don't complain about who got elected and what got passed. I wish though we could regain the tolerance we used to have towards people who voted for the other candidate. Everyone has a story and I haven't walked in their shoes, only my own, so I'm not going to criticize their choices. I just think this country would be so much better off if we could practice tolerance and civility especially around election time.

Just so you guys are aware, B&BW does a yearly candle sale where the 3 wick candles are all $9.95 each. It is usually the first weekend of December. :)

To become a ‘Friend of the Library’ here is only $15 a year, and the benefits are so worth it. Adam, when brushing long hair it is so important to always START AT THE BOTTOM!!!! Then work your way up. Speaking from experience. That spaghetti sauce sure looked delicious!💕💕

Only problem with old dvds of Northern Exposure (long in my tippy top of all tv shows!) is they couldn’t include any of the og music, and that really made the show. From what I’ve read the streaming versions & new dvds & blue rays have most of not all the music back. I can’t wait to check it out again myself!

We went last week for early voting. I have honestly only ever voted twice in my life and I’m 51. I guess I never saw the importance but this year I felt a deep calling to make my voice be heard to vote for President and here in Indiana we are also voting for a new Governor after 8 years of having the same person. I feel a great sense of pride in my country and very confident in my vote. Now we just wait and see. 😊

In Portland, we're doing ranked choice voting for the first time. The city changed the form of Government and we're voting for a new city council with probably 30-40 candidates per district. It feels like a college research project, not loving RCV yet. I dropped my ballot last week. VOTE!

Wonderful commentary on voting. Our country’s democracy is in deep trouble. Americans are becoming so jaded that it terrifies me to think what we’ll become 10-20-50 yrs from now 🤷🏻‍♀️ We used to be the place the rest of the world longed to live in…. 😞 Thank you for caring, being concerned about your country, and for appreciating and understanding how significant our freedoms are. This is off topic, and I can't attend because I'll be tutoring, but one of the high schools I sub at is having a human trafficking seminar on Thursday night. They'll be discussing what it looks like, what you can do to avoid it, what to do if you see it, etc. I wish I could go as this is close to my heart since I work with students.
