Relationship of Command was one of the most amazing albums ever written and recorded. A WARNING in album form. An album that as a whole wants you to know that there is something deeply terrifying involved, and coming for us all rapidly, but smart enough to let you decide what is coming. Just absolutely brilliant.

They did record it mostly live and without a click track. If you isolate the drums you can hear the vocals coming through the mics. Rick Beato did a great rundown on this track.

You won’t understand any individual songs from this album, without experiencing the album as a whole. And what you will understand of each individual song, when taking them all in as an album, will leave you understanding the album, and questioning what you understand of the songs. It’s a goddamn batteries and I still remember the rainy fall day I bought the album on s as whim at old Manifest Greenville SC. Put it in the CD player in my golf, without any expectations and it broke my brain! It’s been in my top ten albums ever since.

One arm scissor? When two lesbians rub Thier crotches together. One arm scissor would be...one woman. Half the scissor component. But that can be a word form for a visual promotion or intellectual projection. So...doesn't have to mean what we think...if he uses it for another meaning. If a scissor has one arm it doesn't cut hair. If someone said..I'm gonna cut your hair! But they had only half the scissor you'd say go ahead...but when they cut you with it! You said to! It could mean a couple things but mostly it means lyrics for thier song for thier band! Surprise! Band begat "blandness"! Just enjoy it and let them enjoy employing music and occupying themselves with something they like. Like"..CAN mean dislike but want to challenge or chase or reveal or frustrate..it just all depends on thier intent..but it can go without description. So...he's got the right to do it! It's nic. They're enjoyable. I didn't like it at first at all. This is what I heard. But as the album progressed I caught on and I just happened to be in the car with some cool people so it was alright. Then one of them had a vinyl single of the Mars Volta and my morning jacket..I hadn't heard either... And that started years of listening to thier music everyday. I really like thier music. But..I also do enjoy time off from it as well and no..I am in no way affiliated with this band or any of their members. Except that I'm invisible and they are too. I think it's the watermelon. Seeds is a bad sign. Don't eat that!
