Western countries ( 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 🇭🇲 🇮🇱 etc. ) are the most evil countries in the history. Colonialism, Slavery, Genocides of the Natives, Ethnic Cleansing, Stealing foreign lands. Even recent history has 44 western nations agree to invade Iraq in 2000s, killing millions of innocent muslims.

@@lazybastard6004 lol , you are always blaming western countries but talking about Muslim ,how about China sending Uyghur to concentration camp? What about Myanmar ? We shouldn't be only focusing on western for racism ,Asia has tons of racism happening too🙃. I am Malaysian , although three main ethnics live quite peacefully (for this moment ,not so much racism and hatred as before ) ,but equality in between ethics has not reached yet. (Well ,with those dumb politician seizing for pm ,I doubt it will be done in future ). Undoubtedly ,every nations did mistakes in the past .513 incident in Malaysia is also an example . In my opinion ,we should be focusing on mistakes that are done currently ,not always arguing about the past that has been exposed .🙃 . If there is no nuclear bomb dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki , Asia is still under control of Japan ,so don't focus on their mistakes only , thanks ,this is my personal opinion . [Talking about Malaysia , well ,dressing code implemented in inoculation centre is also a kind of racism ]

I totally called it that he'd be an Olympian one day, I had zero doubts. His parents are wonderful people and have always been so supportive of him. I am from Australia. My parents were immigrants from an European Island of Malta. Growing up in Australia I never was victim of racism (to my face). I know its there and have seen it. I was always very welcome and never felt excluded because of my ethnicity. I love all cultures and always found the Asians to be the nicest of people. I did a trip to Hong Kong and it was beautiful and everyone was so friendly and helpful. From there we went to Macau. It wasn't as welcoming. I was stared at, pointed at and most of the time laughed at. It was awful and heart breaking to be judged because of my appearance, something that I have never experienced before and I come from a country where I am from a different appearance and never went through anything like this. It's unfortunate, but racism is everywhere. Love and peace to all.
@whtdafuk1701
@whtdafuk1701 3 жыл бұрын
Sorry you had that feel that way but you do know Macau has a 42,000 Macanese who are half Chinese and Portuguese. Clearly from what your saying isn’t racism more like your own insecurities and issues. No one treated you as a inferior, prejudice, discriminated, or hostile toward you. Clearly you’ve never been at the receiving end of racism.

@@whtdafuk1701 Being pointed at and laughed at because of my appearance of being not like everyone isn't discriminating... Really???? From every restaurant, to every sight this would happen. In my country I don't point or laugh at any race. If I did that in my country, it wouldn't end well for me. I had a Lovely Philipino Tourist get angry at a staff member for making fun of me without my knowledge and explained to me what was said. It was definitely racist. The list goes on. Hong Kong I didn't get that treatment, but did so in Macau. This is my observation. The Macanese people are all lovel, Hotel staff, taxi drivers, mostly shop vendors, security etc, but the many tourists at the resort's/casinos, aiport etc where my issues would happen. I don't need to know how to speak the language to understand when I am being singled out....It's universal.

I've experienced racism in US and now that I left there, life is a lot better. No need to worry about who is gonna be racist to me. Also, America didn't make him successful. HE Did It. You can be successful in any country. It might have been better for him if he represents South Korea. Then he won't be discriminated. Bunch of successful people in Asian countries. It just depends on yourself. If you work hard enough, you can be successful, if you are lazy, then nahh no matter which country you're in, then you're not gonna be successful.

My ancestors are from the Middle East, Iran, Pakistan, India and more distantly China. I am more European/North African looking and have been called a border hopper a terrorist and people always asked where I was from. I was born in Romania and I always think about if I was more obviously Asian how people would treat me. I was adopted as well and raised in the USA. It’s a difficult subject but I wish more adopted kids talked about their experiences. Both positive & negative
