This may sound weird but talk to yourself out loud. Just run through fake conversations that could happen in real life. It forces you to realize what vocabulary you need to know and it shows you how far you have come with your target language or how much you dont really know. But this is not a substitute for talking to an actual person! You still have to speak to them but talking to yourself may give you confidence, and it helps you practice!

Not crazy at all! I have no one to speak German to in the USA so I have to speak to myself. It makes you have more "active vocabulary" because you are forced to use the word out loud.

My tip is be crazy and just go for it! Don't let a fear of making mistakes hold you back - speak a language badly and be proud! Take every opportunity you can to speak languages (after all, that's how you improve), even if you look totally weird and make all the mistakes in the world, just being like 'heyyy alter, woher kommst du denn? Frankreich? super, ça va ? j'aime bien tes chaussettes, elles sont très cool' will increase your confidence in languages tenfold. Like, just forget working out any grammar rules in your head and just say it how you think it needs to be said, the most important thing is fluency; grammar comes afterwards, it's a thing you pick up. And you never know, you might make a new friend or two! Maybe even try speaking to yourself if you can't find anyone to talk to but regardless, whatever you want to do, give it your all, because that's how you'll have the most fun, and learn the quickest! :D mein pep talk ist jetzt fertig haha ^^;

Here are my tips for language learners: 1. Total Immersion - This has been stated a lot, but I might as well repeat it to drive home its significance. Contrary to popular belief, one doesn't need to move to a country that speaks one's targeted language to be completely immersed in it. You can do things like change the language settings on your phone/computer, subscribe to online newsletters, and read newspapers from the Internet! We are very lucky to have so much free access to a wide variety of information that would've taken eons to accumulate and sift through back in the day. For me, this tactic was very effective, as I set my computer to open up to the FAZ (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) whenever I opened my browser. 2. Use those connections! - I was extremely lucky in having several German friends who lived in Germany and with whom I was able to communicate with thanks to the Internet. At first, it was a bit nerve-wracking and embarrassing talking to them in their native language, but it was an unfounded concern, as they (just like any other native) were very understanding and even impressed that I had taken the time to communicate with them in their native language. So if you have any friends or family that speak a language you are looking to learn, make the most of that connection! 3. Don't be afraid of the unknown - Sure, memorizing tables and charts for vocabulary is great and all, but it won't stick in your head for long! Explore other possibilities of learning by yourself and find out how you learn the best; everyone has their own unique method of learning. Even if you aren't as experienced with the language, be daring! We all underestimate ourselves. When I started learning German several months ago I would make a point to listen to the radio station SWR4 every day as I did my math homework. This helped with vocabulary (as I heard the same words being repeated every day), as well as pronunciation (listening to native German speakers and trying to understand what they were saying) and general knowledge of the German culture and world news. 4. Use unconventional methods - They might not be mentioned in any textbook, but there are plenty of ways to expand your linguistic skills outside of school books and lectures. One thing I found that helped me was watching German KZbinrs (Easy German is an example of this) to pick up on common slang words and correct sentence structure. It is less stiff and presented in a more enjoyable way than just a textbook. It's a great way to spend some spare time and also widen your horizons! I live in the US and I've been teaching myself German for a couple of years. They say the best way to learn is to immerse yourself in the country that speaks the language. So my tip is to immerse yourself even if you can't travel. I listen to German radio on my phone while driving, I read German newspapers, and watch German films (including Easy Languages!) I also use duolingo to brush up on vocabulary and I listen to audio lessons with Pimsleur. I also try to have conversations with myself (sounds a bit pathetic) but I try to figure out how I would ask or say "everyday things" in German. So that's my tip, false immersion!

I have conversations in my head on the way to work, and spoken conversations when no-one's around. It's all practice man, not pathetic at all! Singers have to practice hitting the notes correctly and pronouncing things, it's exactly the same process

Wie wir gesehen haben, brauchen wir Kraft, Motivation und Lust, um eine Sprache zu lernen. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass wir eine einzigartige Gelegenheit haben, eine Kultur besser kennenzulernen, wenn man die Sprache spricht. Vor allem muss man aber jeden Tag die Sprache üben. Ich wohne in Brasilien und seit Februar lerne ich Deutsch. Am 1. Februar fliege ich nach Deutschland, weil ich einen guten Freund treffen will. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, eine Sprache zu lernen. Aber ich sage auch, dass man dazu entschlossen sein muss. Man muss sein Ziel verfolgen und immer daran glauben, dass man Erfolg haben wird. Ich habe mir viele Videos von Easy German angeguckt, die mir sehr geholfen haben. Heute glaube ich, dass ich die deutsche Sprache sehr gut verstehen kann. Hoffentlich werde ich euch auch treffen, wenn ich in Deutschland bin. Ihr solltet wissen, dass ihr ausgezeichnet seid! Danke Carina.

My tip: there are a few important things one should focus on when beginning to learn a new language. First: phonetics. See what the language sounds like and see if there are sounds that are new to you. Learn the alphabet and combinations of letters. Second: grammar. Learn the phrase structure (word order), grammatical genders (if any) and grammatical cases (if any) of your new language. Learn to conjugate verbs (if applicable). Third: lexicon. Keep the words coming. Set yourself a goal of learning, say, 5 new words per day, everyday. And fourth: find someone you can practice your new language with (a native is always the best idea). My experience has taught me that this is truly the best way to learn a new language!

ich habe Deutsch nur 8 Monaten in meiner Heimatland gelernt. Und jetzt bin ich schon 4 Monaten in Deutschland und mein Deutsch finde ich schon gut. Mein Tipp ist mit attraktiven jemand kennen lernen. das funktiniert sehr gut bei mir. ich habe mit vielen sussen Deutschen Jungen kennen gelernt und gechatten. das macht auch spass . Eine Sprache lernt man am schnellsten, wenn man spaß beim Leren hat. Aber man muss auch viel zeit mit dem Lernen verbringen. Die Sprache muss einen teil vom Leben sein. Ich lerne Deutsch jetzt seit zwei Jahren, also ganz allein, ohne schule, lehrer, etc. Musik, Filme, Bucher, und (ganz besonders) raido shows/podcasts haben mir sehr weitergeholfen. Viel Glück für alle die eine Sprache lerent :)

Man lernt am schnellsten und am effektivsten eine Sprache, wenn man merkt, dass es eigentlich keinen Grund gibt, eine Sprache schnell zu lernen. Außerdem vergeht schnell der Genuss eine Fremdsprache zu lernen, wenn man sie schnell lernen will. Also mein bester Rat wäre: keine Eile haben und das Lernen genießen, aber zumindest eine halbe Stunde pro Tag Kontakt mit der Sprache haben. Manchmal hilft dabei auch, deine Grammatikbücher zu verbrennen und dann sich mit Muttersprachler anzufreunden.

Thanks for your videos, I've been watching them for years now! BEST TIP: There are so many methods to learn a language that we can't say you must learn a language like this or that. For everybody is different. THE MAIN THING I found to be important is to start with the COMPLETE FAITH that you'll learn that language! KNOW FROM THE BEGINNING that you'll learn it! Especially for challenging languages like chinese, russian etc... this is essential! This mindset is very useful with everything in life =)

Hallo! Mein Name ist Rocío und... Haha Pues creo que lo mas importante es que te involucres en el idioma y que tengas ganas de aprender. Yo hablo español, inglés y estoy aprendiendo alemán! :) Tengo 2 tips muy buenos: 1. Anoto en notas post-it la palabra en los idiomas que hablo y la pego en el objeto (en mi cuarto, por ejemplo, el espejo-the mirror-der Spiegel... La cama-the bed- das bett) algo así, en la cocina-the kitchen-das Zimmer) 2. Escuchar y cantar canciones de niños! Un niño no habla muy bien un idioma, pero practica mucho.. it's all about practice practice and practice. And of course to learn deutsch I watch easy German! Although for me everyone speak reaaally fast haha I paused it more than once, but listening to it helps with the pronunciation. Das ist alles! 😄 Danke euch beide! Auf Wiedersehen :)

I've only been learning German for a few months now, so apart from watching your great Easy German videos I'd like to share the following tips... In addition to maintaining a dedicated focus, I use a variety of learning material such as mobile apps when I'm out and about, watching video tutorials at night and over weekends and listening to various radio stations at work during the day. It's also of great help and motivation if you can get a friend to join in or if you have a friend or family member who's willing to take on the role as that of a language coach. To summarize: embrace the learning experience by fully immersing yourself. Perhaps most importantly: enjoy the journey - remember to have fun along the way and keep it interesting, take it easy - don't take the learning process too seriously and don't get demotivated if you feel that you're not progressing fast enough. ;]

Meine Tipps beim Sprachen Lernen. Erstens: Motivation. Ich habe zum ersten Mal zwei Ausländern aus Amerika in 2010 getroffen, in dieser Zeit konnte ich Englisch nicht sprechen obwohl ich 15 Jahre alt war. Ich war so beschämend. Und seit dem versuche ich immer die Fremdsprache zu lernen. Zweitens: in meiner Heimatstadt gibt es nur einige Ausländern deshalb gehe ich in den Internet, um Sprach zu hören. Ich liebe Musik und mag One Direction, Justin Bieber, .. Und indem ich das Interview von meinen beliebten Sängern angucke, lerne ich etwas Neues z.B und habe ich viel Spaß beim Hören, und jeden Tag höre ich ein bisschen und jetzt finde ich Hören nicht so schwer wie Anfang. Ich lese auch den Text des Liedes und folge ihm zu singen, sodass ich mich an viele Wörter erinnere Drittens: ich mache Lernen leichter. Wenn ich die Zeitung oder Geschichte lese, lese ich mehr als zwei Mal ein gleiches Thema, daher kann ich wichtige Wörter lernen und nie vergessen. Viertens: nach dem Lesen, stehe ich vor dem Spiegeln und spreche ich diesen Text so laut, ich habe Gesichtsausdruck und Aussprache wie Mutterspracher (muss man diesen Punkt üben) Ausserdem wenn ich schwere Grammatik im Text sehe, kreuze ich die an und dann ich suche nach den Lektionen über diese Grammatik im Internet, und finde ich heraus, was die ist. Viertens: ich folge einige Fanpage und jeden Tag schreibt Mutterspracher die gute Sätze, von dem kann ich auch lernen. Schließlich kann ich Englisch sprechen und jetzt lerne ich Deutsch.

I have one tip that I love when I learn new vocabulary. When I learn a new word, I try to create one image associated to this word, even if it's extremely weird and illogical. For example, I am improving my Portuguese for Erasmus. For the beetle, the Portuguese word is "o besouro". So I imagined the beetle from the movie "Peterchens Mondfahrt" making a kiss with golden lips, a pun between "baiser (kiss in French) and "ouro" (gold in Portuguese). Learn it from the streets! Completely submerse yourself. I am German and my Oma and Opa don't speak any English. This summer, I am visiting Germany again and my favorite way to study German is: changing the language to German on my phone, laptop, and also think and send texts in German. I throw myself into the language. It's the most fun and effective way to learn! Make connections with German friends, relatives, etc., and talk to them! :)

hören was ich glaube der wichtigste tipp fur irgendeine sprache lernen. Man muss täglich einen halb oder am besten einen Stunde viel hören( am besonders kann mann Ihrer Folge gucken, das klappt auf jedenfall!!) Danach kommt sprechen, wenn sie was richtig hören haben, können sie selbst eine positive energie spüren zum sprechen (wenn ich keine freunde zum sprechen habe, spreche ich beim selbst, das ist aber bisschen komish, aber glaube mir das hilft) Und endlich haben sie viel Geduld und Hoffnung eine sprache zu lernen. :) Machts gut!!

My tips: Motivation is internal and language learning should have a purpose. I started learning because I love to communicate with people outside India (Im from India). I love the culture and love speaking to people from Germany. 1. Try to think in the langauge which you are learning. Usually we think in our language, in which we are comfortable with. 2. Read, write, listen and speak (to yourself) everyday in the langauge atleast 5 minutes. In this way, we never lose the fluency and touch on the language. 3. Make friends in social networking sites and communicate to them through email or skype from which we can try to be creative. Important Tip: Language learning is an ongoing process and it should never stop.

My tip would be to go on interpals and find people that are natives that can write and speak with you in your target language. They can correct your mistakes and suggest newspapers, magazines, books and shows that will provide you with the best vocabulary and grammar.

I would say the best thing is giving yourself frequent exposure to the language, whether it's through watching something, reading something, talking with something (in person or online), or whatever. It doesn't have to be in large amounts each time, but without doing something often, you can end up forgetting much of what you learned the previous time. Two steps forward and one step back is okay, but constant steps forward is much better.

I think the most effective for me was changing my phone language to German. I am always checking my phone like 24/7 and this forces me to use my dictionary and other German apps on my phone more often and then my laptop too.

I'll write in English. I have learnt English and I am currently learning German using the same methodology: Listen to music, print out the lyrics and sing out loud. It is a fun way to practice Listening, Speaking and Reading. Also, listen to Interview Podcasts, I listen to Blaue Couch and Eins zu Eins among others every day. In that way I learn from different age groups, and topics. Finally, write down words you learn everyday, in categories if possible. For example verbs like Mind - Reasoning, or Body actions; Adjectives like Positive, Negative or physical attributes etc. Your mind will the map these new words and will remember when you need to use them.

For me the best way to learn foreign language is: 1. listen the music a lot ! and then try sing a long with it, at least humming so you can hear your own voices trough your ears over and over and over 2. Watch tv that broadcast foreign language that you learnt. in present day you can watch youtube why? because you can see and learn the way they speaks, the lips when they talking, and of course the most important thing is expression, when they talk or pronounce specific word. it's fun, at least for me :D 3. Teaching someone ! or just tell short story to someone who curious about foreign language that you learn, and asked him/her to discuss. that's my opportunity to pronounce the words with out embarrassing myself in front others who mastering the language. But I try to speak with person who speaks foreign language when I get the opportunity. 4. buy dictionary ( in present day it's not necessary , just click on Google translate instead),books or anything that support your learning. I was buy dictionary and novel tittle ivanhoe, and try to translate it :D I was don't have any learning partner, and no youtube in 2001 and also I don't have money to pay course too, so I do that 4 tips above and it's work. Not Bad , I can speaks english ! And now "Hello mein name ist ....und Ich studiere Deutsche" that's the words out from my lips to my boss collegue just to push myself to be confident to speaks german and he surprise and tell his wife ( native indonesian) that I learn german. that's all thank you for reading my comment, maybe it's not comment just boring short story :D , danke ...tschüss

Tip: To watch Easy German videos ;) To have a Tagebuch and write in the language you are learning. I have one in German and even though its probably durcheinander I quickly realize what I need to work on and helps me to think about German grammer and vocab. I sometimes bring my dairy to my husband and he can even correct it for me, if he is nice enough :) Remember: Don't get all hung up on being perfect. Have fun with the language and BE HONEST to yourself about the language.

Best tip- subscribe to the Easy German channel and watch... rewatch... rewind and repeat everything they say. Read the translation while listening to hone your listening. Break everything down. Rinse and repeat. Manuel speaks incredibly quick, but is an extremely effective communicator. You've just got to visit the country super much or go live there for a little while if possible, talk to real people, instead of studying boring grammar, etc. It works so much better, when you hear a language so much you will eventually be able to speak it anyway. It is so much fun to be able to communicate with different people. When youre speaking another language its a whole different part of yourself thats speaking, I always have the feeling that I'm a bit of a different person when I speak german. I think it has something magical. Its so worth the all the effort you put into it. Especially at the beginning it might be hard, but once youre a bit further, you realize that you get so much back for all the effort you put into it.

Hallo..my tip is listen to the songs or news of that particular language as well as watch movies along with subtitles.It helps to learn a new language more faster since it involves phonetics which is now being implemented on a large scale.last but not the least,I have downloaded all videos of Easy German.They are very useful and have helped my vocabulary and sentence formation.

Ja, ich muss zustimmen, dass das Erlernen einer Sprache von Person zu Person unterschiedlich ist. Für mich war es hauptsächlich das Üben vieler verschiedener Dinge, am effektivsten war es, Videos anzuschauen und zu pausieren und jedes schwierige Wort zu übersetzen und zu wiederholen, was sie sagen.

My tip is to use the travels to work or school to listen to some audio courses (or podcasts if your level is good enough). And use a counter in your phone to remeber the lesson you're in. I also hear them to sleep if i feel too stressed.

Complete exposure to the desired language is the only key ingredient when learning a new language. That means reading newspapers and online forums where people express themselves colloquially, listening to the radio, watching TV, etc. You must not be afraid of not being able to understand everything and you shall let ignorance lead you. Thus, in a short time, you will not even notice the amount of information you've learnt and you'll keep surprising yourself. I remember when I could barely say hey hur mår du? and now I'm technically fluent in Swedish. I'm sure same thing is basically about to happen with German. Learning languages should be all about having fun and not stressing yourself with it.

My tip is to hear others speak the language in addition to regular study. I speak with the german foreign exchange student in my high school who is from just outside Munich. She helps me a little bit with me pronunciation and what to say, and I help her a little bit with her english, like when she thought Dice were called Rollers CX.

In order to learn Deutsch, I'm just trying to watching the one episode of Easy German a day with relaxed and full of enjoyment. Even if I'm Korean, it's quite interesting to learn Deutsch thru English :) The most important thing in learning new language is to have a positive mind that I can make it.

My main tips for learning German are: reading children's stories, hearing radio and music, look for partners who are learning it too and try to have some casual conversations. Finally I recommend to use post-it around your house or anywhere you can see it frequently for learning new vocabulary with the right article. Hi. My tip for a language learning. I think it is good to follow the path we followed learning of our own language. At the beginning - watching the cartoons, reading easy rhyming texts ad so on. The next step is to buy a set of elementary school books which are used by young students and study them (read, make the exercices). Then step by step read and watch more sophisticated materials. I definitely do not recommend to be crazy about slang. The slang changes. Besides the language like Engilsh has so many slangs so it is almost impossible to know them all. That's my idea. Good luck!

Actually, there is a very good way to remember new words; Anki. With every new word I learn, I make an example sentence. For example, consider "Dame." You find out the translation and then you write it down in the Anki software. Afterwards, you make an example sentence using that word. You can make as many examples as you want! Then, when your done, you can look over your cards.

Mein kleiner Tipp für alle, die gern Videospiele spielen: Einfach die Sprache der Konsole (oder PC) auf deutsch (oder eine andere Sprache) umstellen. Meistens stehen mehrere Sprachen in Videospielen zur verfügung. Das hat mir am Anfang sehr geholfen. Besonders hilfreich war die Spiele, die ich schon durchgespielt hatte. Das hat wie ein brandneues Spiel gewirkt! Und irgendwie habe ich viel unterbewusst verstanden weil ich die Geschichte und den Dialog schon kannte, was mit dem Erinnern der Wörter und Redewendungen sehr hilfreich war. Seit ein Jahre lerne ich Deutsch, für mich funktionert es Videos fürs Sprachlernen anschauen, wie dieses Video, man kann auch die eigene Stimme abspeichern und dann hören um wissen zu können, ob man das gut ausgesprochen war, Vocable oder Wortschatz Kartei machen und mit diesen kleinen Zetteln Spielen machen (obwohl jemand allein ist, ist sinnvoll, weil man ein Ziel nehmen kann), mit den Lehrern viel sprechen um zu verbessern. Meiner Meinung nach ist dass, wenn man ein Buch, von einer Fremdsprache ist, liest, ist es zu schwierig. Anfangs empfehle ich Ihnen Bücher für Kinder. Quiero agradecerles por el excelente trabajo que hacen con sus videos, son de mucha ayuda, siempre los recomiendo a mis amigos que aprenden Deutsch como yo, me parece excelente que tengan subtitulos en inglés y alemán. My tip: Read books you are interested in, in that language and look up words you don't understand. Use Duolingo.com. Practice the language with people or friends that speak and tell them to correct you when you make a mistake. Sing songs in that language(even in the shower!) to get used to the pronunciation. Watch movies and videos without subtitles to train your ear to listen for keywords that you know to make you have an idea of what is being said. Once you get used to basic greetings and phrases, learn how to properly pronounce words so you can see an unknown word and be able to pronounce it well. Practice everyday in fun ways!

my tips to learn new languages: for listening: listen to music which was written by the language you learn, be friends with people who speak that language, searching on internet for audio or vids about that language. praticing about an hour a day for reading: reading book is a good idea, but when youre just a beginner, follow some celebrities which speak that language is better. than you not only know news about them, but also can learn a language. you can follow some fanpage on facebook or be a member of a forum to learn that language. for writting: since i got 99/100 in the writting test from B1 Deutsch Pruefung, i'm kinda good about sharing my experience. i used to write about 9 different texts a day and gave it to my personal tutor to fix the mistake for me, and if there was no more topic for me to write, i would re-write whose topics i already wrote. i'm also asking for more ideas about that topic. i can not only fix my grammar mistake but also learn something new about that country.in some topic of speaking, i also write it down and gave it to my teacher. for speaking: luckily i have a german friend here and we usually chatting with each other. nothing is better than practicing in real life.dont be shy talking to the foreigner when you want to learn a language, maybe they'll be willing to fix your mistake and you can learn the pronunciation as well. but above all, you must have an interest in that language, then it'll be much more easier to learn. i learn german because i want to go there to study, that's a biggest target of my life so it's getting easier for me. i also like korea so although i didnt learn it, i still can understand some basic words and count the number ( beucase i watch kdrama and kpop so many times ) i have a friend who learn japanese, although she spent about nearly a year to study, she just can speak some basic sentences in japanese .. it's obvious when you learn something without interest, it's getting harder a thousand times. she learn japanese just because her friends learn that, it's not the motivation.

A language must be acquired and not preferably learned. What you can do, is if there is anything you have to/want to learn, for instance a specific programming language, find some video course that teaches that skill in the language that you want to learn. The next step is: don't try to learn the language. Just pay attention to learn that skill that's being taught in the course. In the end, if you do this for about 20 hours or so, you will have learned the language and also the skill you wanted to learn. The skill taught in the course must be something you're interested in or something that you really need. Good luck!

Zwei ganz innovative Methoden, die ich mir ausgedacht habe, die mir unheimlich geholfen haben: (1) (So habe ich Chinesisch gelernt): - Zuerst, Grundlagen lernen. Wie bilde ich einen Satz, Aussprache natürlich, wie konjugiere ich etc. - Dann, Brief/Emailfreunde finden, die mit einem gerne in ihrer Landessprache schreiben. Hier kann man sich noch Zeit lassen, Texte mit Hilfe von Wörterbüchern zusammenbasteln und sich korrigieren lassen. Gerade einfache Sätze gehen dabei nach und nach immer leichter von der Hand. - Dann, versuchen auch direkt zu chatten. Praktisch die Weiterentwicklung vom Emailschreiben. - Kann man schnell und einfach chatten, selbst wenn es nur mit ganz simpler Sprache funktioniert, kann man den Sprung in echte Gespräche wagen - und man wird erstaunt sein, wie viel man doch versteht. (Gerade das Umgangsspracheproblem wird so ganz gezielt umgangen, wenn man nicht ausschließlich am Lehrbuch klebt.) - Dann am besten mit interessanten Muttersprachlern reden. Mit guten Freunden. Nicht mit reinen Sprachdates. ;) (2) (So lerne ich gerade Koreanisch): - Die Lieblings-(US)-fernsehserie runterladen. - Die passenden Untertitel in der Lernsprache und im Original dazu finden. Am besten, wenn diese direkt übersetzt wurden. - Einen Satz im Original lesen und dann versuchen zu übersetzen. Danach, wenn gewollt, mit der richtigen Übersetzung abgleichen. - Nach und nach versuchen (A) die übersetzten Untertitel 100%ig zu verstehen und (B) alle Original-Untertitel schnell genug übersetzen. -> So lernt man lebensechte Phrasen und nicht nur reine Vokabellisten. Übrigens: Meine Freundin lernt Deutsch. Sie würde sich sehr über das Paket freuen :)

Meine Tipps sind folgendes: Zuerst: Viel Motivation und keine Angst vor Fehlern. Man muss die ersten 3 Kurse im Heimland besuchen. Das ist eine gute Einführung zur Fremdsprache. Meiner Meinung nach können die Lehrer viel besser ihre Schüler und ihre Schwierigkeiten im Heimatland verstehen, weil der Lehrer oder die Lehrerin die Sprache ihrer Schüler kann. Man kann ruhig fragen und die Antworten verstehen. Die Inhalte des besuchten Kurses kann man zusätzlich mit Videos, Bilder und podcats aus Internet unterstützen. Wenn man z.B ein Thema über "kaufen und einkaufen" lernen will, kann man in Internet eine Menge Materialien und Ideen finden. Das ist auch gültig wenn man Grammatik besser verstehen will. Außerdem kann man durch Tandem die Sprache üben und weiterlernen, das macht viel Spaß und macht die Erfahrung noch lebendiger. Filme und Podcats sind sehr hilfreich. Nach 2 oder 3 Jahren sollte man wirklich einen Deutschkurs in Deutschland besuchen, weil man so nicht nur Zeit, sondern auch Geld sparen kann. Es ist leider nicht immer leicht, sich einen Sprachkurs im Ausland zu leisten, aber es lohnt sich die Investition. Man lernt viel schneller und efektiver eine Fremdsprache und das Wichtigste: Man lernt Landeskunde und bestimmte Kode der Menschen, die man durch Lehrwerke nie lernen kann und das gehört auch zu einer Sprache. In Chile besucht man in der Regel 2 mal in der Woche einen Deutschkurs (Extensivkurs), d.h. 6 Stunden wochentlich. Intensivkurs gibt es nur im Sommer, weil die meisten Leuten im Sommer mehr Zeit dafür haben. Wie gesagt: In 10 Monaten kann man erst das Niveau A1 oder A2 erreichen. In Deutschland kann man zum Beispiel das Niveau A2 in einem Monat erreichen. Und der Vorteil ist, dass man sich auf den Kurs in Deutschland konzentrieren kann. Zu Hause, im Heimatland muss man sich um die Kinder kümmern und man muss viel arbeiten oder / und studieren. Aus Zeitmangel lernt man kaum und nicht richtig, weil man schlecht die Zeit verteilt. Wenn ich die Möglichkeit hätte, ein Tandem mit Manuel oder Cari zu machen, bin ich sicher, dass ich viel lernen könnte, weil sie immer ein Thema zum sprechen haben; ausserdem sprechen sie sehr gut aus und stellen immer Fragen. Well, I didn't even know the alphabet until I was like 11 years old(I'm Korean). then once I watched Harry Potter, I was totally crazy about it and that gave me huge motivation to study English. so, motivation is the most important thing and you have to keep reminding yourself 'why' you have to learn that language. and then I think about many benefits or advantages of speaking that language. then I will try to learn basic sentences and words by book or youtube video. (In my case, I watched Harry Potter over and over again and then watched the actors and actresses interviews). Then I imagined what I would say if I had an opportunity to meet those actors&actresses or go to Hogwart. I know it doesn't make any sense but I was a kid back then. haha. My point is, it is important to maintain your motivation. I also spoke to my dolls in English...I didn't care if I spoke wrong because my dolls wouldn't judge me :P then I found some friends on the internet and learned English(but they were Germans hahaha XD). That's how I learned English very fast within a year when I was a kid. I'm a college student and honestly my English isn't that much good since I didn't make much efforts after that 'one year'. but...anyways...that's how I learned English and I should use similar way to learn German also. I like this 'Easy German' youtube video and hopefully I can get lots of help from this channel. and I have to say my favorite is Manuel... :)

Mein Tipp ist : Zeitmanagement beim Sprachen Lernen. 1 oder 2 Stunden pro Tag reicht aber nur, wenn man sie richtig benutzt...und auf jeden Fall muss man mit Leute, die die Zielsprache beherrschen, häufig reden.

Servus Leute, Ich bin der Fede und komme aus Spanien/Argentinien. Seitdem ich in Deutschland eingereist war und zwar Oktober 2011, lern ich Deutsch relativ intensiv. Wenn ich mich für einen einzigen Tipp entscheiden muss wäre es dann ganztätig überall ein kleines Heft und Stift dabei rumtragen, so dass mal beim Lernen eines Wortes, Satzes, Spruches usw auf der Straße bzw bei Freunden es gleich aufgeschrieben werden kann, ohne die Risiko einzugehen das zu vergessen was man gerade gelernt hat. Selbst in der eigenen Sprache ist es wiederum nicht sinnlos sich zu notieren was man auf der gezielten Sprache gerne übersetzt bekommen würde. Bsw ich hab neulich festgestellt ich sage oftmals auf Spanisch: "...lo que debería haber hecho" (English: What I should have done) Also, nun kann ich auf Deutsch ruhig gleich sagen "was ich hätte tun sollen" ohne mir sonst noch was, und höchstwahrscheinlich inkorrekt, auszudenken. Anki ist ein sehr hilfreicher App. Diese "spaced repetition learning" Methode funtioniert sowohl beim Wortschatz Lernen, als auch beim Grammatiklernen. Ich finde Anki sonderlich hilfreich beim Grammatiklernen, denn nicht das Genus der vielen Wörter ist ziemlich schwierig zu lernen, unter anderen Dingen. Wenn ich das Genus bei Anki wiederhole, versuche ich einen Satz für jedes Wort zu erfinden, in dem ich ein Adjektiv benutze um Adjektivendungen zu beherrschen.

Außerdem Easy German Videos sehen und in einem Deutschkurs lernen, meinen Tip um mehr Deutsch zu lernen ist: Daß ich jeden Woche Zehn Wörter auf Deutsch nehme, die entlang die Woche ich mich zu lernen vorschlage. Mit diesem Tip kann man wahrscheinlich 40 Wörter in einem Monat lernen. Andere Sache ich mache, ist zwei Wörter lernen, deren Bedeutungen zusammen ein neues Wort bauen. Zum Beispiel, Sehenswurdigkeiten (Sehen->see, + wurdig->Worthy = Sth worthy of seeing->tourist attraction), dabei kann man die erste zwei Wörter lernen, plus ein dritte Wort mit Leichtigkeit. Was ich sagen werde wird sich ziemlich kitschig anhoeren. Man muss nicht nur die Sprache lieben, sondern auch die Leute: dann hat man die Motivation, die man braucht, um eine andere Sprache zu lernen. Daher kann man viel Methoden probieren. (Welche Methode dir am besten gefaellt findest du unheimlich schnell heraus. Fuer mich ist die Grammatik am Wichtigsten). Ich weiss das schon, weil ich vorletztes Jahr auf eigenen Wunsch von den USA nach Deutschland ausgewandert bin, um die Deutschen und ihre Kultur kennenzulernen. Wenn ich auf deutsch mit den Deutschen rede, fuehle ich mich komplett wohl. Also Liebe fuer die Leute des Landes ist der beste Tipp um eine andere Sprache zu lernen.

It has to be personal. Während des Sommers bin ich ein bisschen länger als eine Monat in Köln gewesen. Ich habe viele Wörter gelernt, dass ich nie gelernt würde, wenn ich nur ein Lehrbuch gelesen hatte. Bei Easy German höre (und sehe) ich Wörter im Kontext, deswegen schaue ich deine Folgen an.
