@@hectordoblado4987 more people need to be asking that question of the Snyder cut. Thousands are praising the Flash using the Speedforce to save the world; but there is no cost to Barry or the world. All of it rings so hollow, as it is the spectacle of it that people are equating to deep comic book moment. Barry just reloaded a save with no consequences. Unlike Snyder, the JLU Speedforce is a huge payoff. This scene pushes Barry as member of the team, shows the audience just how powerful he can be and show that he is willing to sacrifice his life. By the way, the original score for this scene is top notch.

This scene will always live rent-free inside my head. Flash has always been (and always will be) one of my favorite DC characters, and when I first saw this part, I was amazed and it's so scary to think of how powerful he can be if he abandoned his morals or anything. He had always been the "funny guy" in the League, so this was such a surprise to 7-ish year old me. He literally split both Braniac (or what's left of him) from Luthor by, from my assumption, detaching Braniac's DNA from Luthor. That's insane.

Wonder Woman exhibits a slight character growth in this scene. When Superman "died" she was about to kill the person responsible until Flash stopped her, reminding her what Superman would think of the situation. WonderwWoman, knowing how The Flash dislikes killing as he would've of easily killed Luthor at that momemt or let her kill the person responsible for Supermans "death" was about to attempt to stop Superman from killing Luther as a nod at how the roles have changed and reminds you how much these characters are constantly growing.

Watching this scene for the first time as a kid made me realize how freaking powerful The Flash really is.

I think it's a testament to how well this is written that even though I never watched this show as a kid, I watch this scene now as an adult without that context and it still makes me cry. Them bringing back Wally because of how connected they all are is beautiful, and I love the nods to the comics. Like, Wally referring to the Speed Force as "beautiful" has even more meaning knowing that (unlike in the CW show) in the comics the Speed Force has its origin as a sort of speedster heaven or valhalla. Once they've run their race, every speedster eventually joins the Speed Force. I think that's pretty fucking cool.
