വിഗ്രഹം പള്ളിക്കുള്ളിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തേക്കു മാറ്റിയതോടെ ആളുകൾ സംഘം ചേർന്ന് മസ്ജിദിനു മുകളിലേക്ക് കയറാൻ തുടങ്ങി. പോലീസ് തടഞ്ഞില്ല. ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫർമാരെ തല്ലാൻ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ ക്യാമറ ഒരു വീട്ടിൽ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. പുലർച്ചെ ഫൈസാബാദിലെത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഒരു പള്ളിയിൽ നിന്ന് ബാങ്ക് വിളി കേട്ടു. ഒന്നിനെയും പൂർണ്ണമായും നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്നതിന്റെ തെളിവായിരുന്നു അത്.
