My professional life has been largely serving projects of Atal ji like golden quadrilateral and pradhan mantri gram sadak yojana. Quadrilateral has improved speed, reduced wear b tear, reduced delay risk, reduced pollution etc etc etc Connecting villages by all weather roads is so unique that farmers can bring their produce to markets by which role of middle men has reduced, villagers could avail better hospitals & schools etc etc etc I consider myself fortunate to have spent major part of my professional life on infrastructure projects initiated by Vajpayee jee. Why are you trying to separate Vajpayee from BJP? The current BJP government is also development oriented (we are 5th largest economy) but focused on basic issues and aspire that benefits reach poorest of the poor. They have made huge strides in expanding benefits such as direct deposits, zero balance bank accounts, access to finance, gas connections, electricity, internet and roads in villages. Some great examples of Make in India are Skyroot launching a rocket in space, India to manufacture iphones, Indian government mandating list of items for defence to be purchased from make in India, Airbus to manufacture 40 planes in India etc. 2) Increased FDI due to easing business by reducing archaic compliance laws, codifying labour laws into 4 codes, coming up with a logistics policy etc 3) large scale government spending aimed at reaping long term benefits (this also gives me the feeling of reduced corruption) But in spite of all this, the endeavor of the government is that benefits such as Ayushman Bharat, Rashan, Direct Transfers, Zero Balance bank accounts reach farthest of far people.
