And yes, I only watched The First Take a little, but even BABYMETAL, which recently appeared on it, performed with only the lead singer's singing and the chorus, with no dancing. But AG came with their personalities in full force, as they declared. At 6:39, That is the famous, 'Mizyu-copter' by Mizyu (みぢゅ). It's like Doraemon's 'Bamboo-copter'?, I do not know, hahaha. Babymetal has not been good at the Idol Group parts since Yui Mizuno left the group. Yui was so talented. Atarashii Gakko are just much better at singing and dancing than Babymetal without Yui.

「オトナブルー」というタイトルは、日本語の「大人ぶる」という言葉に掛けたものだと思われます。 The title "OTONABLUE" seems to be a reference to the Japanese word "Otona buru". 「大人ぶる」には、若者が自分を大人っぽく見せようとするという意味があります。 "Otona buru" means that young people try to make themselves look like adults.

AG were formed in 2015 by Asiobisystem. The members are Suzuka (glasses and lead singer here), Rin (shaved side of head), Kanon (long hair) and Mizyu (twin hair bunches who does the "Mizyu-copter" with them that you noticed). They do all their own choreography and also create dances for other groups. I'm not sure if anyone takes the lead or if it's totally collaborative, but they obviously don't impose a single dance style. This First Take performance now has over 10M views. Otona Blue (Adult Blue, blue is associated with youth and immaturity in Japan as well as the usual English meaning of "blues") is about "teenage awakening" ie the awareness of desire in others and their own desire to grow up and experience adult emotions. AG wrote the lyrics themselves when they were younger and I think it's an honest expression of their feelings as they approached adulthood, which can make people uncomfortable. But AG never shy away from difficult subjects. They actually cut out some of the more explicit "phallic" bits of the dance and introduced a mime of a flower opening with a surprised look. Check out their latest song "Suki Lie" which is about romantic betrayal.
