Atari 2600 Gameplay #2: King Kong

Fun little game. I don't understand why people trash it.

Because they took one look at it and the mediocre graphics, said "Donkey Kong rip-off", and instantly labeled it as trash without giving it a chance. Then word gets around that it "sucks" and people start saying it sucks without even having played the game. Pac-Man suffers from the same phenomenon. E.T. too. Whether or not they're actually decent or just terribly average games doesn't matter. Yet another illustration of herd mentality.
