Hi Mick, I use 95 fuel, stabilized. I find it last easily 6 months. Example: left fuel in mower from November to March, started second pull, and ran as it should. Aspen fuel, hard to find and cost way too much. For reference my Mower is a Hayter 48, 2011 year.

A thing you could consider Mick 🤔 is put Aspen fuel in your mowers that are for sale ( I don’t know m if there could be a minimum amount 500ml? ) and just that cost on the mower. That will help cover thst cost and anyone wanting to buy a decent serviced machine , shouldn’t mind that but of extra cost. It will be minimal cost ? just a thought.

I use Briggs and Straton fuel fit. Still using last years fuel with no problems.

Pleased to see you are on the mend Mick. I hope the rest of the family are getting better as well. You look like you could with a bit of a fry up pal, and a couple of pints. Do you have room at the back of the shed for a rear or side door? Just a thought. Cheers for making the video.

Fantastic content! You’ve encouraged me to bring back to full health my Hayter 41. Suffolk punch (Kawasaki) next! My question is this: can/should you add any sort of fuel additive to E10 to make it more mower friendly? aspen is outside my budget 😳
@themowerman4 ай бұрын
@@jyasay8863 try and use E5... And only get a small amount.. that way go to the petrol station more often to get a good cycle of fuel..
@thewholls71764 ай бұрын
Good job Mick. E10 to my mind is a nightmare and given the size of the tank on a mower surely it’s nothing to put premium fuel in. I drive a 5.4 L V8 here in Australia. Cost a fortune in fuel. I still run 98 octane - and you can feel the difference and it’s evident when you take the plugs out…….. Keep up the good work with the channel PS - do you ever use Loctite thread lock when putting the carbys back on?

Another great video and glad you and the family are doing better. What would you advise in cleaning my mower down as it getting very dusty and dirty even after wiping down after every use. Take it no good to rinse with hose or pressure washer.

Mick Thanks for a great video and very useful I have been putting some stuff I get from B & Q it seems to be working. This year I will have a go at cleaning the carb I have the same engine on my mower.. Could you tell me where you got those great small drills from so I can give the carb a good clean? Fingers crossed I can do it. Regards to you and your Family. Harry

We here in the states.... Sorry, colonies.... Lol..... We face E15, that crap some cars won't run on let alone any small engine, so when you go to the pump, you are asked what you are using it for, so they don't get sued I guess.... LMAO
