Not really. The character is awesome, but she looks and acts like any other person in a descent size city. If I didn't watch wrestling, I would think she's no different than any average person in the city. The different hair colors isn't really that unique unless you live out in the middle of nowhere. You can tell she likes living a normal life outside of wrestling.

I live in Las Vegas, and about three years ago had seen her at Whole Foods, but when I was about 10 feet away from her (even with the multi-colored hair), she seemed way too young to be Asuka, as she looked like she was in her early 20's. So, I didn't think it was Asuka, as she simply looked like a young woman with some pretty colorful hair. Particularly without stage makeup, and if you don't hear her speak, and in Las Vegas where a lot of women have colored hair, although not necessarily both blue and pink, she can live a normal life. On occasion when she is in a Japanese grocery store, or maybe a few other places she will be recognized. Also about three years ago, she was at my gym, which is really huge (about 10,000 people per day come through), and that is close to where she lives. When I came up to the machine that was next to her (not stalking, I do 4 machines before spin class and was running late), I just thought she was some young woman with some pretty unusual hair. I wasn't going to bother her, but not until I saw her videos, (where she has been at the Whole Foods that is close to my home) did I realize that yes, that was Asuka. I think without her makeup, and if she is wearing some kind of hat or baseball cap, and no fancy attire, not too many will recognize her. I was maybe 3 feet away from her at the gym, on the very next machine, and at first I thought it might be her, but then said "no she looks way too young, that's not Asuka"....but it was. So, from my experiences, I have to politely disagree with you of immediately recognizing her as a star when she is dressed pretty low key. Honestly, she just seems like some young lady in her 20's who is doing something different with her hair. Remember, she isn't in a wrestling ring, and she is about 5'3". Las Vegas is the land of showgirls, and all kinds of headliners. Also, Asuka just like many famous actors and athletes, often wears a cap. Without makeup, wearing a cap, low key clothing, maybe sunglasses, and again being 5'3"......it would be tough to recognize her, as you couldn't see much of her hair, and you are doing your errands and not really thinking about Asuka.
