Capsicum got you, why have you done that to yourself?! Lols😭😆😆 The mangoes are probably picked early that's why they aren't the sweetest,, the conditions they grow in wasn't probably the best/ low quality variety or something scientific happening in every bit of them diluting the glucose thus making them less sweeter. The bigger it is more water is being accumulated then water dilutes sweetness

You're brave to try the chili. In bisaya, it's called Siling Kulikut.

Been living and working in Thailand +15 years i can say that yeah Philippines have some chilis with good sting but most are pretty bleak by Thai standards..haha🤣 By the way are fillipino food highly underrated..some Philippines dishes are truly wonderful and really good, pitty that the westernized fastfood culture are so strong in Philippines
@psyche99085 ай бұрын
Well, you've probably tried the bird's eye Thai variety which is not very spicy at all, this variety is pretty prevalent in Manila, totally different to the Philippine bird's eye chili that are mostly used in different provincial regions. Those little ones pack a reputable punch.

That chili pepper is the hottest in the Philippines....you need to drink coconut milk or any milk to reduce the spiciness..
@MichaelMovillon-lm9eo5 ай бұрын
I you feel the pain of hot of the spicy, and there's no available milk to relieve the intense of the spicy. Just take some spoon of sugar, it's effective to ease the hot of spicy.
