So funny story... AC/DC is actually one of Yunho's favorite bands so you may see him in their shirt at some point, especially if you watch some clips from their 2022 tour earlier this year. I absolutely thought it was just an aesthetic thing for him too at first but then when Ateez got invited to perform and be interviewed at the Grammy museum in California he bought an AC/DC pin there and told us in his vlog that they're one of his favorites. He does like a lot of "mainstream" groups (maybe just what he's been exposed to as someone with English as a second language) but being that he still listens to a huge variety of music in different languages I can respect it. Lol Thank you for this reaction! I hope you'll check out more Ateez videos. Their discography is so varied it's like a surprise/treat every time you watch an MV or listen to an album. They have a little bit of everything and leave no stone unturned and I love it.

Their youngest, Jongho, is an incredible vocalist. I really like the way his voice slides here. It reminds me of older rock, but I can't quite put figure out who. Journey? I'd love to hear your opinion. Even though they make songs in many styles, his voice always fits (Celebrate is one of my favorites for ad libs and it leans gospel). A lot of their songs feel epic and could easily be used as a music soundtrack. This album is consistent, so you'd probably enjoy all the songs, but really their music is so well done there aren't any skips for me in their discography. I recommend Black Cat Nero since it October, but I'm here for any ATEEZ reaction. Another group you might check out, if you haven't, is Kingdom. Their debut, Excalibur, feels a bit like Queen to me. They're not well-known but I think you'd enjoy some of their music.

Thanks for reacting to ATEEZ! You guys should definitely check out more of their music, they have a hugely diverse discography ranging from stunning ballads with beautiful vocals, to more heavy songs similar to Guerrilla, to poppy summer-vibe songs and everything in between. The great thing about ATEEZ is that because they work on albums literally years in advance, their music is never trying to follow trends or capitalise on what's popular. And because some of the members themselves have a hand in the composing, writing and production of the music (mostly Hongjoong and Mingi) everything is a reflection of who they are as a group and as individuals, so it never feels forced no matter what genre they try. Oh and the handstand was part of the original choreo, however because it's already a very difficult choreo (their most physically taxing choreo so far) there's too high of a risk of injury to Mingi (the one rapping during that part), so he doesn't do it during live performances.

It makes me so happy to see rock/heavy metal fans listen to Ateez and really, genuinely enjoy their song/music. 😎 I just discovered them this year and they truly have floored me with just how talented they are. They are known for their live performances, they're phenomenal imo. 😉 They don't lipsync and they give 150% everytime, so you definitely need to check out a live performance of Guerilla for sure. I hope y'all decide to react to more of their music, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend Wonderland, Hala Hala, Say My Name, The Real and Pirate King (this is their debut song), to start with. And they did a cover of Turbo's "Black Cat Nero" and rearranged it into a hard hitting rock song, definitely one of my faves. 😺 Atinys, the name of Ateez's fandom, enjoy watching new people discover and react to our boys, so you'll probably gain a good amount of new subscribers; I just subscribed myself. 😉 BTW: Dreamcatcher and Ateez share the same producers.

coming from industrial music scene, before I heard Guerrilla, I used to lowkey hate kPop. But man 4gen boys is something totally different and Ateez (with Stray Kids) really got me interested with how different, original and often hard they sound. Now I'm totally hooked on their music, such a talented group.

@@enaxtry I completely understand 😉 I too had an aversion to listening to Kpop because of what I'd heard in the past of it and just the stereotypical thoughts of what Kpop is. But after watching BTS Mic Drop and getting into them, then discovering Ateez my mind was blown. Ateez most definitely are NOT the norm in Kpop, imo, their music just hits everytime, for me. I'm just now getting into Stray Kids, and so far I'm really enjoying them.

This is ATEEZ’S BEST COMEBACK. Not a single skip on the album, their best title track and also one of the best music videos. As you said when groups do more rock it seems forced but they pulled it off really well considering they’re supposed to be pirates? (That always gets me) The raps, vocals AND VISUALS were on point. Not a single stage was boring and I saw ATEEZ as KCON and the entire venue was screaming their lungs out. GUERILLA has really boosted their hype and popularity so proud of them.

ATEEZ is a very unique and not your usual kpop group. I'm not really into the 'cutesy' concepts and pop, that many groups has going on and I like unique/off the mainstream/rock music, so it's a given I would fall for ATEEZ 😉 I get the sense that leader HongJoong (the one opening the song and doing the screamo) is a bit of a rock, older generation hiphop group fan (Block B), plus the youngest member JongHo (the one doing the crazy high notes) is a fan of the group Monsta X, (who has a more rock wipes too), and this shines through in their music. HongJoong has made some covers of western classics, among these Linkin Park's 'Numb' which he does really, really well! It makes you realize he has a really powerful rock sound 😉 ATEEZ does make some soft and cute songs, however they're more known for their upbeat and raw songs, like their 'Wonderland' - defiantly worth checking out. As well as 'Rocky', 'To the beat', 'The leaders'. Other masterpieces with MV's there's 'DejaVu', 'Fireworks', 'Thanxx' and their strong hiphop song 'The real' and then a bit more quiet, but still powerful, 'Inception' and their 'Answer'. A lot of their fans would probably tell you that 'Wonderland' and 'Answer' is their two strongest songs and I too would agree 😉☺️ But defiantly take a listen to the rest of the album, Guerrilla is from. The entire album has a steam punk wipe and is really good. Especially 'Cyberpunk' 😉

To understand Ateez you have to realize that all of their albums are part of a storyline that involves Ateez being pirates that can travel between dimensions. Which, when I put it like that sounds cheesy, but if you go through the whole storyline from the beginning it’s more like an anime. Each Album is named with a chapter name and an episode number. This album is the first episode in a new chapter with dystopian vibes. Other songs by Ateez that you might appreciate are Wonderland (foundational for any Ateez fan) and Black Cat Nero (kind of a Halloween song I guess). Since their fictional character can travel interdimentionally there is really no limit to the types of worlds, or music they can explore. If you watch trailer 2 for their The World: episode 1, Movement album you will get the all the back story that explains the epilogue of the guerrilla music video.
