For me, this mv was pure artistry. They really pride themselves on their performance ability. They express themselves solely with their dancing. However, if you want to see their wicked - and I mean wicked- expressions, find the live performance where they're dressed in red. That's one for the ages!

Just as a warning; hala hala live is 10000 times better 😳 The more u get into ATEEZ over time, the more and better performances of hala hala u will see. Everyone is different. Hala hala ending, outfits, the energy, some facial expressions... They always manage to add a little difference but the end. The krumping kind of style end is like watching The Exorcist for the first time lmfao. There are some live stages (Kcon NY, Knowing Bros and another one I don't remember) where San goes even harder. He said he broke A LOT of mics with that part (in fact, u can see for example how Yunho in the KCON NY one separates the mic from his mouth bc it would be dangerous). Btw, srry for my English :)

if you watch San and Seonghwa fancams for this song you will feel the most disrespected you have ever felt in your life lmaoo also the Wooyoung thing at the end. the theory is that the rest of Ateez killed their Halateez counterpart at the end and Wooyoung was the only one who chose to keep that part with him. it basically confirmed that theory in their Fever road series with the little clips at the beginning and end.

Be careful what you wish for... there are maaaaaaany many live performances, concert fancams etc that have their beautiful faces exposed during this song, but before you watch those definitely find a sturdy chair, have a bottle of water nearby and do some breathing exercises beforehand :D Also there is a reason why they are in masks, at least within their narrative. This is the official 'Halateez', men of whom no one really knows their identity yet, or true purpose/goal. Halateez might be present in MVs like Wonderland (fashion/concept being rather dark etc) and of course in Answer (MV makes more sense now you’ve seen this one), but usually when they 'appear' they look exactly like this; for example in their UNI KON perf the other day the backup dancers represented Halateez (wearing these outfits) and the boys themselves the 'regular' Ateez. It’s all part of the story. And obviously a superduper king-behavior move as ROOKIESS to do an entire MV without showing their faces like “yeah we got the looks but we know we can get you to bow for us with our performance skills alone”…and we love that here :)

Great reaction, skjksjkjk, relatable as always. I, too, was a tad disappointed at first when I watched them covered with masks the whole time, but prolly it's also ATEEZ way of sayin' "Look at our talents, not our faces." Btw, Yeosang was the only one who was not shown without a mask on at all, at the intro part.
