it makes sense that inception felt different than their other stuff to you!! because it was the start of a new album series, they purposely made it quite different from all of the treasure series. The entire album is like that too, they said that they used entirely new sample packs and sounds for production for the zero : fever series than they used for treasure, which is so interesting to me! like they purposely are making the two series sound different from each other, i love the thoughtfulness and intentionality of it.

INCEPTION is definitely one of my favorite comebacks!! I have a list of reasons why I love this comeback so much: 1. Seonghwa (my #2 bias) was disrespectful by showing ATINY his abs twice (not that I mind it), but also killed it with his vocals. 2. Hongjoong (#3 bias) and Mingi (#1 wrecker) absolutely SLAYED their raps. 3. CENTER WOOYOUNG (#2 wrecker) AND CENTER YUNHO (#4 bias) 4. Yeosang (#1 bias) showing off his dance skills 5. San (#3 wrecker) being everything and almost making me cheat on Yeosang 6. Jongho (#4 wrecker) just being his talented self and just blowing me away with everything he does

This is gonna sound so cheesy but Inception is really special to me because it was the first Ateez song I ever heard. The song I showed my non-kpop friend who thought that KPop were just that stereotypical boygroups with 13 year old screaming fans and who fell in love with Ateez instantly 😂👏👏 Ateez is now her ult and she loves Seonghwa to death, but she also started to listen to other groups and I'm really proud that it was Ateez that convinced her to get into Kpop, because Inception was really just so different but it blew me away the first time I listened to it, but I was always a sucker for water choreography and Seonghwas and Jonghos Highnote in the end is just everything I ever wanted 💕

I *GASPED* as soon as I saw this uploaded!!! To be fair - the lyrics will help a little bit, but the entire MV won't make any sense at all unless you watch their Diary video that explains all their stories ;; Basically the most to take away from the MV is that each member is in their own little world with a specific storyline affecting them, and they are all connected by being shown sleeping in that bed. Then, at the end, Hongjoong goes and does the jump at his sleeping form and ends up in that dark void, and at the same time, all the members wake up from their dream. Has slight implications towards the movie Inception in that sense, as well.
