Maddox is a composer and a singer in KQ ! He does the narration for ATEEZ a lot if not EVERY time when they do intros like this on their albums! Also, I wonder if you listen to the live version of Empty Box if it would change your mind? But also I definitely understand why it’s not a hit for y’all! The whole album for me tho is such a hit, I’m a big BIG fan of every song! Maybe live stream of Jose playing a horror game? 😂

Maddox is a soloist and producer with KQ. He does the vast majority of the English narration for Ateez intro/interlude/outro tracks. He also has done a duet cover of Ditto with Jongho, which may be why you recognize him. He's an amazing vocalist and is very close to Ateez. eta: Ateez just dropped a special clip of Empty Box, and they've done it live several times. You might consider a revisit to see if you still don't vibe it. Not every song is for every person, so I get it, but I find Empty Box absolutely beautiful in an aching heart sort of way.

My fav from this album was definitely Blind, second favorite is Empty Box because I’m in love with Yunho’s vocals. The version of it they did in Killing Voice was really good! I’m still getting used to Shaboom lowkey 😂

Shaboom is by far my favorite track on the album. I listen to Shaboom on repeat it's such a fun thrilling listen each time. Empty box has high key beautiful moments but I do think it could've been a little shorter. The Dingo killing voice version is WAY better.

I've watched multiple reactions to Golden Hour and every single person without fail starts involuntarily dancing to Blind. And yes I agree it's giving World Cup theme song in the best way possible. For me Blind is the standout song on the album. Don't get me wrong I love Work. But I kind of wish this album had double title tracks Empty Box i really appriciate because as much as i love their hard hitting songs, sometimes i just want to chill and Empty Box is great for that Shaboom is such a crazy song because it absolutely should NOT work and yet it does. Siren actually competed with Crazy Form to be a title track and siren for sure gives World series vibes

This album is so random (looking at you Shaboom) but still chefs kiss 😂😂😂 Had me dancing, then emotional, and then right back to grooving lol! Side note--> they have a collab coming out on July 1st with Be:First (Japanese boy band with a phenomenal rap line and a heavy emphasis on dance, so similar to ateez). I believe it’s called Hush:Hush (don’t quote me on that lol) But it looks like a full collab with all eight members of ateez and all seven members of Be:First. ❤
