The best summary that I've heard so far about how this mv fits into the ATEEZ storyline and lore comes from Rolling Stone India. But ATEEZ themselves said that this story does not continue with the main story, even Hongjoong said that it is connected to the main one but at the same time it is separate from the main story and in fact it is understood that in this story they tell us about the beginning of Halateez, the 8 new ones are Halateez who are replacing another version of ATEEZ, a pre-Halateez one

I feel like this entire song is the POV of the people whose minds Hala!teez have managed to awaken before disappearing. Now Hala!teez are viewed by them not as actual people, but as some higher entity (Halazia) that is capable of setting everyone free. Hence the worshipping and the prayers for Halazia to grant them the light and to restore their emotions and feelings.
