Is the morality book part of their universe or something ?
@xangraneko22902 жыл бұрын
There's a movie called "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and it inspired Ateez's Eternal Sunshine. The scene where Hongjoong was grabbed in the train was a reference to where the main character was getting their memories erased. Also notice Seonghwa's first line "If you could only save one memory which moment do you want to remember?" There's a theory going that in this mv, Ateez are in an utopia, where everything is perfect and almost fantasy like in a long pleasant dream. But in reality, nothing is actually real.

There was this one theory that an Atiny shared, and the whole MV for ‘The Real’ basically revolves around the idea that bullying, degrading and pretty much, anything negatively put and causing some form of harm on others is not the type of ‘cool’ that should be encouraged - Being a bully or mockery of others doesn’t make you cool. The real ‘cool/style’ is showing kindness to one other despite your differences and remaining humble no matter how big your achievements are. In this case, the members were grouped into separate clubs and Mingi was the new student! San and Wooyoung were in the baseball club, Hongjoong and Seonghwa were in Calligraphy, and Jongho and Yunho were (I guess???) In the street racing gang(?). Each of them believed their own groups to be the coolest and Mingi being new, led them to try and convince him into joining their clubs. They were cornering Mingi to show him what the real ‘cool/style’ is. Because Mingi has refused to bother and join a club, he’s being outcasted and that is represented clearly from that one guy who went in to literally punch him for it. The book that shielded the hit says ‘Morals’ so in short, his morals (quite literally) is what protected him. And you’re correct to assume that they all seem to have a rivalry going on. They are! The dance battle is basically a full on fight in between them. All the while, Yeosang has been watching from a distance and just to point out, all those times he has shown an action or expression that displays his disapproval (the frown at the dance battle, the ‘no’ gesture with his hand on the rooftop..). Why? 👀👀 Because he symbolises peace! He is the dove itself that is set free!🕊 Which is why he eats the very bread he feeds the birds. At the actual dramatic anime-fiasco battle, the beam(?) which appeared out of their fists basically summoned that book that says ‘The real cool is together’ (something like that -.-;;) and it reveals the real meaning of being cool, (it humbled them lol) and they finally unite as one upon the magical knowledge they gained in a span of a second!! 🎉🎉 At the realisation, the MV cuts to Yeosang who is finally displaying a pleased look on his face and upon all that unity sweetness, he joins them all into a victory dance for becoming one. As a result, the initial dance battle became a group dance with everyone hyping each other up!! Our amazing hype men, wbk ✨ Phew! That was a lot of typing and this comment is getting much longer as I continue type lol! 😆 I’ll end it here but I hope this helps you understand it! I believe the theory since it suits well and makes a lot of sense! Love your reaction!! and PS: I’m obsessed with your hairstyle😩🤌💕💕 you look amazing ✨✨

Turbulence made me cry as much as the real made me dance. The ability of ateez to pull of both as title tracks. Also mama collab stage with 4th gen groups- yeonjun with his darling wooyoung(plus hyunjin, yeji, heeseung, karina)!!! I'm so excited!!!

The song: 멋 is a Korean word without a direct English equivalent--real, style, and cool are attempts to catch the meaning, but it has an underlying idea of honor, so it's about how what's really cool is to be humble and kind. The video: Appears to be based on Volcano High, a popular movie in 2001 about a transfer student with special powers who ends up at a school with warring factions who are trying to find a book of power. Ateez's twist--The book they find when they work together is essentially a book of morality, a book about 멋. (If you want more details watch Form of Therapy's reaction). Thanks for the reaction!

Based on what I've watched and heard, Mingi was a newcomer and the other teezers are trying to make him join their respective clubs but he won't budge. Yeosang on the other hand is a symbol of peace (as confirmed by Seonghwa).

THE REAL is about korean culture. THey use dialect/satoori everytime they say the "this is what we call style" part first San does it in his satoori "ige baro moshingira ", then Seonghwa does it second time then Yunho does it
