You’re so right, ATEEZ are so unique, even though they have such diverse song-styles! Since you love ‘Wave’ / ‘Say My Name’, I def recommend ‘The Answer’. For more hype /edgy energy vibe ones I suggest ‘HALA HALA’, and ‘Fireworks (I’m the One)’. Fun fact, the ‘Halazia’ song name relates to their older song ‘HALA HALA (Hearts Awakened, Live Alive)’. So ‘Hala’ is a word they made up, and ‘zia’ means ‘light’ - so ‘Halazia’ means “hearts awakened, live alive, be the light” essentially!! They are so thoughtful about their songs, lyrics, and visuals that it is really just all so captivating. Their live performances are also wild - if you're interested, I'd be happy to recommend some of my fav ones :) And omg YES would love an ‘ODDINARY’ stream from Stray Kids!!! And I'm glad that you're coping with the wildfire smoke issues... I've been seeing that in the news, and it looks awful. Stay safe!!

If you want a live version to react to, Wonderland (Symphony No 9) would be my suggestion. It was a performance on a survival show called Kingdom and it was freaking insane how well put together the stage was.

In S. Korea, they have weekly music shows where artists perform their new music and the fans vote for their favorite. Wave has a special place in Atiny's heart, because it was their first song to earn ATEEZ a win. Since they're from a small company, they weren't expecting it and their reaction was touching. If you'd like to hear more of their lighter fun side, I recommend Illusion and Eternal Sunshine. Ordinary sounds fun. I got to see them on their Maniac tour & they were great! Venom was probably my favorite stage. I'd love it if you did ATEEZ's The World EP 1: Movement (Guerilla's album) at some point too--it's a very cohesive album.

Ateez and stray kids introduced me to k/pop they are beyond the genre to me. They taught me about acting and facial expressions being important in dance they are all so amazing. I recommend their pre-debut KQ FELLAS I,II,III for amazing examples of their musicality in dance. Aww I've never seen the wave mv how cute! Hearing 10 seconds of their song "The Leaders" from their kingdom performance of "the real" is what REALLY got me hooked tho. Loved your reaction to these severely underrated mens!!

I love to see new people falling into ATEEZ! They are indeed unique and don’t fit into the general bubblegum kpop of most groups. All of their albums introduce a new sound and evolve. They take inspiration from literally every genre of music you can think of…and incorporate it into an edm/rock vibe. They are the KINGS of performance. You watched the cyberpunk video, but they developed choreography to the song for their most recent tour. Highly recommend watching some of their performance videos. The energy is absolutely nuts and they ALWAYS sing live. Some of the things you see at the end of their videos are clues into their lore as a group. When you mentioned Guerrilla making you feel like you could take down the government…that’s exactly what the song is about lol it’s part of their “story”. They are fighting against a government that deprived its citizens of experiencing emotion through music, art, dance..etc. it’s a whole damn rabbit hole to fall down lmao Sorry this got long. I can talk about ATEEZ for days 😂

Thank you for reacting to Ateez. One thing: Their MVs are incredible visually. There are reactors who are film buffs and point out where the MV visual themes come from. there are video editors that will tell you more than you will ever need to know about HOW the vid is put together. It might be that you are a person who likes to start with the lyrics. Or start with watching the MV and then closing your eyes and listening to the song. Doesn't matter. i think ateez is so special because they are super passionate about what they do and it shows through their music. even though it’s packed with fantastical lore, the lyrics are still very meaningful and applicable to real life (we can thank the ateez rappers mingi and hongjoong for writing all their own raps) just a lil background on halazia: this song and music video is PACKED with lore, so it’s totally fine if you feel that getting into the ateez storyline would be too overwhelming, but it definitely contributes to the “spirit” and “soul” you mentioned. ateez’s mission at the point in their storyline in which guerrilla and halazia take place is to travel to another dimension to the dystopian city Strictland to revive emotion through art, which the government of Strictland outlawed. that’s why the lyrics are so moving! such a long comment so sorry but thanks so much for your ateez reaction! looking forward to the Outlaw stream and potential Oddinary stream :)
