I'm still skeptical about the timeline being a Mobius strip. For one, whenever Hongjoong talks about the storyline, it's always been in a linear fashion (Fever series happens first, then Treasure and now The World). He even drew a timeline on Showterview. As for time travel, the only instance we have of the Cromer affecting time is when Yeosang breaks it to send the rest of ATEEZ back to their home dimension in the Fever Part 3 Diary. In every other instance, the Cromer sends messages via dreams (Fever Part 1 Diary; Hala-HJ gives the Cromer to Normal-HJ in a dream) and can teleport the individual holding it (Fever Part 2 Diary--Halateez use the Cromer to avoid the AG, Fever Epilogue Diary--WY uses the Cromer to take the members back to Strictland & the World: Movement Diary--Normal-ATEEZ use the Cromer to avoid the AG while performing just like Halateez did in the Fever Part 2 Diary). *They don't travel to Strictland & back via their dreams either. When WY uses the Cromer to go back to Yeosang, everyone is awake. **I wanna add on that Strictland & ATEEZ's world are not the same place in different points in time. They aare different dimensions exisiting at the same time. I also don't think Halateez & ATEEZ are one. I really think they are separate groups of people in their respective dimensions. Unfortunately, Halateez does not answer HJ's question of who they are in the Fever Part 3 Diary (HJ's entry) or in the Fever Part 1 Diary (Outro/HJ's entry). ersonally, I would need more evidence on how Halateez & ATEEZ are connected. But for now, my gut response is that they are separate groups.

Totally blew my mind away! I do have a question though. So, in the end of Deja Vu we see Yeosang on the floor with the cromer indicating that he's been left behind as like in the diary. If we read fever part 3 diary, we see that he is actually stuck in what I guess would be called the New World and then in the diary for EP 1 Movement, it is slightly hinted at how he was in this chamber for "correction" kind of hinting at what happened in the diary of Fever Part 3. Hongjoong has stated that there is a time lapse between Movement and Fever part 3 that we are not aware of yet. However, in Fever Part 3, Yeosang mentions seeing Seonghwa in Halateez wear so the idea that normal ATEEZ and Halateez do meet seems to be high for me but I'm wondering what ypur opinion is on that. My loretiny brain has been activated and now I can't stop

From my own theory, when yeosang was left behind in fever pt.3, he was brought to the android guardian's island (mentioned in diary for ep1 movement). Supposedly this island is where everyone who resist against the Z government is brought to this place for "correction". My guess is that the black pirates/the resistance/halateez are kept there after being captured by the government thus that's why yeosang saw Halateez Seonghwa. I also think that what we are seeing in part 1 of this era is diaryteez with halateez yet to be introduced for now.

It wasn't halateez seonghwa. So you might get confused but hang in there. Halateez are trapped just like Yeosang. Fever series are a prequel (so they come before) to the treasure series. In the diary entry, remember how Hong joint said some thing like "he told us to place our hands on the glass" and "suddenly I felt an energy and our clothes began to change." Right now you might be having some deja vu. But its not deja vu. It happened right in front of your eyes, you just never noticed it. In pirate king, we see the members getting ready to save Yeosang and halateez. In say my name, ateez touch the glass and begin changing clothes (towards the end). Then the next song, hala hala. The first thing we hear is "first time I've felt this way." Then we hear a glass crack. That's ateez finally freeing hamsters and yeosang. Remember halateez's and yeo were kept in a glass box. So you get it now? You're also wondering what happened to Halateez. Its simple. They're alive but not with Ateez. Ateez uses a mobius strip in their storyline like mentioned BUT. But the thing is Halateez and ateez cannot meet personally using a !mobius strip which makes me confused. A mobius strip can have two people, say Halateez and ateez, be in the same place but not at the same TIME. Halateez and ateez are flipped. Yes, on the same side but flipped. Answer is its own dimension which means that answer doesn't fit here. Inception is like being under anaesthesia to go for surgery and waking up from that anaesthesia. There's no way deja vu is like inception so there's clearly an error. And so that's why Halateez cannot be in the same time as ateez. Halateez is alive and saved but cannot contact ateez cuz they don't have a cromer anymore, thanks to yeosang, so they can't do anything. In answer they made a deal. But we don't know what the deal was. But one thing is for sure, there was an error in the diary entry. I made sure to check 100 times but it didn't make sense. I even stayed up late last night, that's why I'm watching this video. I even asked chat gpt and researched about the mobius strip but my point was still proven right... How did ateez save Halateez at the same time if their storyline is helped by a !mobius strip...??

I just started your video, I agree Ateez lore looks a ring to me when I think about it in my head. I agree with all what you said. I have been think about their lore for a long time now and I came to these conclusions to myself but with the help of your colour video, a theory video on KZbin and books and films they use as references like inception, 1984 and Peter pan. I love their lore so much, the brain power used to think about though gets me a head ache but it's still worth it. You worded this perfectly and I can't explain this clearly to others. Great video. @@gabdongipark Lol welcome to the circus! I know a lot of new atiny get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff in their story. (I think they said recently that we haven't even seen 20% of it yet?) Ateez has several bits of lore that extend beyond just their stages and songs like the lore booklets they included in the photobooks for the diary editions of the fever and world series albums. There's also the diary film they posted on KZbin and I think they also confirmed that the ending and starting parts of their Road to Fever variety show were also canon to the lore. What I appreciate about Ateez is that they are so determined to stick to their storyline that you can always see traces of it within everything they release, even in places that other groups would normally change content for like their Mnet Kingdom stages. Hongjoong straight up said that they weren't necessarily there to win Kingdom, only to tell their story. I think the only other group I've seen that has a storyline that connects back and is seen throughout is VeriVery, but I don't think they're the level of dedicated to it that Ateez is!

Looking at it like this it's not even two dimensions, more like just one. OOH OOH! Yes! Yes yes yes!!!! You. You are so so close to understanding the point!!!!! In fact you have actually answered your own question and you don't even realize it! I show reality vs illusion model at 5:40 and between reality & illusion is 'confusion'. This is taken from lyrics of "Outro: Over the Horizon", "Deja Vu", and "Blue Summer" which all mention 'confusion'. There are a handful of Ateez music videos where we 100% do know what world they take place in (mostly based off specific locations talked about in the diary entries). So "Guerilla" and "Deja Vu" definitely take place in New World because we see things like the prestige academy and the bunker. "Hala Hala" takes place in Old World because we know they're in the abandoned warehouse/hideout. But it's also definitely Halateez we see in "Hala Hala". So let me ask you this question: does "Hala Hala" take place in reality or in a dream? WE DON'T KNOW! It's Halateez so they should be dreaming/asleep, but they're in Old World so they are in reality/awake. It should be IMPOSSIBLE for Halateez to exist in Old World, but it's not because of the Cromer. "Hala Hala" does not take place in reality or illusion, "Hala Hala" takes place in 'confusion'. Normal Ateez in Old World (reality) ⬆️⬆️ Normal Ateez in New World (confusion) ⬆️⬇️ Halateez in Old World (confusion) ⬇️⬆️ Halateez in New World (illusion) ⬇️⬇️ Same thing with "Eternal Sunshine"; does "Eternal Sunshine" take place in reality or in a dream? WE DON'T KNOW. Ateez is genuinely shocked and surprised when it's starts snowing during summer. Jongho's lyric from "Illusion" talks about them being confused: they don't know what day it is, they don't know how many days have passed. Ateez has been traveling between the two worlds so much they have completely lost track of what world they're currently in. Ateez doesn't know what world they're in, they don't know if they're normal Ateez or Halateez, they don't know if they're in reality or a dream... and so WE don't know what world they're in. KQ is doing this on purpose. You are supposed to be confused because that is basically the whole point.
