*FUN FACT:* - The cromer was mentioned to be a Mayan Relic in one of the ATEEZ fever diaries! The Mayans is an ancient civilization from Mesoamerica (Modern-day Mexico), and they were known to have contributions towards the science of astronomy and the 365 day calendar :D I think it goes really well with the theory about ateez's treasure being related to stars. - Lowkey thankful to my social studies teacher for teaching me about it right on time, BAHAHHAHA! Your videos helped me a lot in understanding ateez's super duper complicated storyline. Because your videos make so much sense, all I've gotten were goosebumps when everything started to click huhu! Such a wonderful and beautiful breakdown at the end. ATEEZ has inspired me so much through this journey that I found my Treasure. My Treasure alongside ATEEZ is art and with ATEEZ as a soundtrack I was able to document parts of my journey in an art book that is now award-winning (Treasure Found: An Art Journey) Art is my light and I’m at the beginning. I’m an Adult becoming younger and ATEEZ has been the inspiration. Your videos are great. Thank You. ❤❤❤

2:38 oh wow, this got me thinking. i forgot where it shows up (might’ve been a diary entry), but the same thing is said about strictland, that as the world started chasing material possessions more and more, they became blinded to what’s truly important. i think that plays into the part that you said about treasure being a destructive force, as you could say that for strictland, material possessions were their treasure. it could also play into the want vs dream aspect you were talking about, as material possessions are something people want, but never complete anyone. that vs ateez’s dreams of becoming stars (or saving strictland for halateez) creates a cool contrast as well, i think. and in one of your previous videos (i think the one about theories for world ep1 or the double meaning video?) you were talking about how there’s only a thin line separating ateez from z, separating them from becoming the things they’re fighting against. i think that line about treasure being a blinding force may also add to that, as if they get too wrapped up in chasing their treasure, they can become blinded and lose their way, as we can assume z/strictland gov did. i’m just rambling at this point lol, but it’s an idea

Yes to everything you said! I tried to keep this video simple but there are small pieces like this that point to larger ideas. I'm a very firm believer that treasure is not always a positive thing. There's all kinds of interesting lyrics about Ateez going crazy or insane. Treasure is power; and that power can corrupt you. It can turn you into a savage. Even if we look at ateez themselves- to become idols, to pursue their treasure, they've had to neglect a lot of things in their personal lives. They weild a lot of power as celebrities but that power comes with a price.

@@TinyBugInk i agree! treasure is definitely not always positive. and i also think that if your möbius strip theory is correct, and halateez is simply ateez in the future, that could be a possible reason we see them locked up when ateez first travels to strictland. as halateez chased their treasure, they became more careless and started taking more risks, which led to them being captured by the android guardians (i believe halateez to be quite coordinated, as we can see from the lore in world ep1, so that’s why i believe them being captured was likely due to mistakes on their end). perhaps that’s why they reached out to themselves of the past, to try and save strictland once more, and hopefully not lose sight of what’s important. maybe halateez being corrupted by their treasure would equal ateez reaching their treasure? and vice versa, of course. maybe yeosang breaking the cromer would be a key point to that. it would also make sense then why wave could possibly be an illusion as well, as halateez reminisce the time before they became halateez while on the yellow smoke - the times of the old world, as the wave mv looks very distinctly old world. needless to say, i really enjoy your theories! they get me thinking about the lore in a deeper way, and it’s fun to theorize about what could be going on in the ateezverse.

@@susucat0 You put this words so well. I also think Ateez series is this way too. I think Halateez failed because they refuse to embrace the treasure they found. Ateez' treasure to me in there lore is self acceptance and forgiveness. In Ateez diary film characters have back stories that are painful to listen to and Wooyoung has regret right now. Like the Peter pan story, peter doesn't want to grow up like his father( captain hook) and that leads him astray. Sorry, I don't remember Peter pan's end. Ateez also use inception the movie has refers and film ends with the main character learning to embrace the truth and forgive himself for his wife's suicide. If Ateez is win and get their treasure they will need to move on and be free from their own bondage they're in. Z is a someone or something or multiple things each of the members fears the most. Their lore says treasure can be anything, it can change the world or destroy the world. The world is referring to Ateez reel life since it's they are dreaming after all. Strickland is place Ateez are solving other people's problem while negligent of their own. Ateez needs to be okay with the balance like yin yang.
