Good news for Mingi--CarKPop just dropped a video about great raps from 2024 and Mingi is on there (as is Hongjoong). CarKpop actually knows what he's talking about and gives explanations about why a rap is good. If you're curious go give his channel some love. Thanks girls. You are the sweetest, and I agree, there's no need to say things in a way that will hurt people.

The people saying they unfollowed Ateez after a single comeback that wasn't their favorite are crazy, like if you've loved a group for a long time how could u just move on from them just because u didn't like ONE SONG like no I'm genuinely curious HOWWW because I COULD NEVERRRR I love them so much that even if they released a shit album (not that ateez are even capable of making bad songs) I would still support it

Yeah I don't get it. You aren't a stan or even a fan of a group if all it takes for you to "leave the fandom" is one song you didn't like. I would understand multiple, at least 4 or 3, but one is insane.

I completely respect that everyone has different tastes, and Ateez’s music isn’t going to be for everyone. they’re incredibly versatile, so it’s natural that not every song will appeal to every listener. but these comments on Reddit feel more like personal hate than constructive criticism. I think labeling Ateez’s performances as 'over-sexualized' is really unfair. out of their entire discography, As that one comment said I can only think of a handful of songs that could even remotely fit that vibe ,like 'Wake Up,' 'Cyberpunk,' 'It’s You,' and maybe 'Deja Vu.' That’s 4 songs out of hundreds! Ateez focuses more on storytelling, powerful emotions, and choreography with meaning rather than just trying to be sexy. as for the 'noise music' argument, their discography is so diverse ,they can deliver softer, melodic songs. not liking their style is one thing, but reducing them to these stereotypes ignores what makes them so special. Honestly, this isn’t just about Ateez. it’s a problem with how some people treat K-pop in general. groups work so hard to create music, performances, and content for their fans. If you don’t like a group or their style, just don’t follow them. there’s no need to leave hateful comments. critiquing something respectfully is fine, but outright hate says more about the person commenting than the group itself. At the end. It doesn’t take much to be kind to people, whether we know them personally or not.

here to explain a few things; "mingi and the black girls jokes" - it's been a long time "joke" in the fandom that mingi is exclusively interested in black girls. mostly because of his excitement in fancalls with black fans etc. at first it was fine, just a funny thing to say, but it has soon spiralled into everyone assuming every black atiny has mingi as their bias, commenting "dont let mingi see this" on black atinys tiktoks/posts, and all around just being extremely weird to the point they're making it seems like he has a fetish. many black fans have expressed how uncomfortable it makes them yet people still continue to do so with the incentive that it's 'just a joke." jokes are meant to be funny, this is not. "ateez know about gay people" - the amount of atinys that "protect" the boys from gay jokes etc is ridiculous. somebody will say wooyoung is a boy kisser and suddenly you're being cussed out and doxxed. the homophobia is crazy. they defend it by saying "don't assume idols sexualities" all while assuming they are all straight. ateez know gay people exist, are extremely vocal and supportive of the community, and have even made the jokes themselves. "i can't stand other atinys" - i agree that fans shouldn't hate on fans, however there's instances where it's valid. such as; solo stans. the amount of atinys that disregard the others work or existence as a whole and even go as far as shit talking to other members just to put one on a pedestal is insane. a majority of atinys are ot8, yes, but there's a number of people who will take every opportunity to literally hope that ateez disbands so 'x' member will be 'free.' a majority of this 'drama' if you'd call it that takes place on twitter/x. atinytwt is not a very fun place but it truly allows you to see everybodys true colours and just how much people hate on ateez for no reason at all. it's honestly exhausting so i don't recommend it. with you guys being so new to the fandom, i thought it important to clear these things up so you know but also just stay away from atinytwt lol. also; people randomly bringing up stray kids whenever ateez is mentioned is common. get used to it. stays are notorious for undermining ateez and their skills just because they're "competition" ?? call ateez the 4th gen leaders and stray kids fans will come running saying how stupid you are for even thinking that. it's just awful. always love your reactions and happy to see you enjoying the group so much. have a good day/night!

Kpop fans can get very cutthroat. And honestly a LOT of fandoms will go out of their way to send hate to other groups especially if a group is perceived as any sort of threat to their favs status or popularity. Also since there was a lot about the boys acting sexy… a lot of ATEEZ viral moments are from them being attractive so there’s just these preconceived notion that that is all they know how to do And their concert concepts…. They’re quite literally performing. Most of their concert is them acting out part of their lore. I think people just don’t understand that ATEEZ are attractive men… of course they’re gonna look attractive because they’re competent performers

Thank you ladies! I appreciate you taking the time to explore some Ateez opinions. I think it’s safe to say many of these comments are NOT Ateez fans. Like you said, everyone is entitled to their own opinions but the people who feel the need to go on platforms and put groups down…well it just shows their own character at the end of the day. These men are beautiful and sexy, and if they wanna showcase that, I’m here for it!! I’m sure that many people that go on reddit and other places to put groups down are worried about them gaining more fans than their own favorite groups so they like to fuel the fire of haters. I wish that everyone could learn how to appreciate the groups they love and just leave the groups they don’t like alone altogether. Just don’t listen. It’s that simple. I absolutely agree that people who are trying to criticize the rapping, vocals, and performance need to be knowledgable before they do so and do it in a productive way. Too many people aren’t mindful enough to recognize how their words affect others. And some just forget that idols are actual people at the end of the day who put a TON of work into what they do and take pride in it. Anyway, thanks so much again for touching upon this topic. 🫶🏻

Friend, I would HIGHLY advise you to not take anything from Kpop_uncensored Reddit opinions as gospel truth. Many of the people on that sub are actually ATEEZ antis who HATE ATEEZ with a passion. LOL. Of course they are not going to have anything good to say about them. And most of their opinions are not based in any kind of fact.

as someone who has disliked ateez's recent comebacks (golden hour) and share that sentiment, their new comebacks don't take away from the fact their music has been a large part of my life, and though the past few years I've moved away from being a stan/kpop in general, me no longer enjoying the music they are currently producing does not make me hate ateez or feel bad about my time in the fandom, i was a huge fan during 2020-22. i think people in kpop fandoms have a sort of toxic positivity mindset, that any critic or looking at a kpop groups work analytically, pr having any negative thoughts as well as positive is mixed up with attacking the group, or you just not being a big enough fan. which is a mindset i am glad to have left behind, ateez will always be in my playlist, just don't follow them the same way

Many of those people are not fans or fake fans!! And their music is definitely not going downhill!! Also I think Mingi is a great rapper, like have you heard Arriba??? He just has his own style of rapping and his voice just adds extra spice to it!! Also the whole dancing thingy with who is the best dancer in kpop! Like even tho Skz and Ateez are my ults and I'm not an expert in dancing, I don't think any of ateez or skz members are the best dancers in kpop!! Like there are soo many good dancers and they dance really good aswell but there are just some "better ones". And you can't even really say "better" because everyone has their own style in dancing and some are better in some genres!! Also Jongho is a great singer and his vocals are not overratet!!!! And the thing where people say that kpop idols act cringey because they "try to be cute", maybe it's just because thats just more normal in korean culture?! It's different that western culture! The criticism with Ateezs music is probably because they do usually have a very hype and loud style of music and thats just not for everyone, but I don't get why you would hate on them for that! Just let them do what they enjoy and mind your own buisness, you don't have to hate!

I mean, honestly, the concert I went to last July did make me blush (in my mid-40s)... but blindfolds and ribbons and such will do that, including when Seonghwa was wearing a jacket over cross-straps but no actual shirt. I definitely enjoyed the show, which was basically a very immersive musical theater type of thing and nothing like the other K-shows I've seen/been to, but there was quite a bit of blushing going on. Basically, I didn't mind being there with my best friend but it might've been a little awkward if my husband had been with me 😂 Golden Hour pt 1 was definitely the point where I stopped enjoying basically everything they put out; I only enjoy a couple of songs off that album (WORK really isn't one of them; I prefer the 3rd remix far more than the album version), and Golden Hour pt 2 really doesn't have a lot that suits me either. BUT, I still love them and what they do, and I believe that they're extremely good at showing their talent. Sure, I'm looking forward to the next album that hits me as a totally no-skip album, but I'll still buy each one even if I won't listen to all the tracks on them. I'm OT8 at heart, with an extremely heavy leaning toward Yeosang and Jongho (haha); the others wreck me routinely, and I would never ignore any of them. I'll trade or give their cards away sometimes, but I love them all regardless. ALL of that said, I support our boys doing exactly what they want to do... that goes for the music they put out, the MVs they make, how they present themselves to the world, how they each choose to interpret the base choreography (because they do make it their own), and the list goes on. Because at the end of the day, I'm an ATINY and I support my guys. I may not always put my money on it, but my heart is there. The music might not always speak to me, but I wouldn't throw shade even if I decided to put down my ATINY hat one day.

The Ateez are always sexy comment kills me because I can count on both hands the number of songs with sexy choreographies, even the so-called sexy choreos are in bits of about 10 secs thereabout. The truth is that they are beautiful men who don't downplay their attractiveness and it's up to you if that is all you see🤷‍♀

They are X:IN a multinational kpop group having a pretty big fanbase from India,Russia,Chinese,Vietnam,Philippines..It is a five membered girl group having Esha-Korean but from Australia(leader,main dancer,main vocalist) Basically she choreographs for xin's b sides..and sounds like jisoo. Nizz-Korean(lead vocalist,visual) She has the best vocal control and beautiful high pitch in vocals. Aria-Indian(lead rapper,visual,maknae,sub vocalist) She have a good flow and deep voice and written raps for xin..basically an army..she was trained just for 6-9months(most biased member) Nova-Russian(main rapper,sub vocalist) Previously a ballad dancer and science student..she is smart and a very good rapper plus dancer. Hannah-Korean (lead dancer,sub vocalist,rapper) She is one of the best dancers of this gen..i swear.. They had 3 comebacks one with ex members chiu and roa..later replaced with hannah and nizz..they have stable live vocals..and every one is an all rounder..Recently one of their songs was included in XO kitty season 2 in ep3 ...They are preparing for a new comeback upcoming month..'Ready' is the fandom name..
