Use Chain Material and Secrets of Dark Magic to easily make Quintet on your opponent's turn. You'll even be able to keep it since Quintet's effect prevents destruction from Chain Material.

During your opponent's turn, activate Chain Material, which will allow you to make a fusion monster using any monsters from your deck during this turn. Then, you can use Secrets of Dark Magic to summon Quintet.

Spell lock is only active when spellcaster in on the field. Verte is plant and dark magician is spellcaster, but on face down position.

Hi, 2 months later if you still are confused by this, I can explain lol. Essentially, DM and rod are both DARK monsters, and even though neither are tuners, you can treat one as such because Chaos Angel will allow it. The text on Chaos Angel is "For this card's Synchro Summon, you can treat 1 LIGHT or DARK monster you control as a Tuner." So DM is 7, Rod is 3, then treat one of them as a tuner, you get your level 10 Chaos Angel!
