Why cant i change the wall thickness in parts list. Civil 3d forces you to use the wall thickness it gives you depending on what pipe size. I just want to have a 23 x 14" horizontal elliptical pipe with 2.75" thickness but civil 3d only allows me to use a 4" wall thickness.

La hauteur de la structure devrait être dynamique, car elle dépend de nombreux facteurs. La hauteur des structures varie même lorsqu'elles ont presque le même diamètre intérieur. Comment en tenir compte lorsque, dans ma liste des pièces, la hauteur est figée ?

within one network, you can switch part lists and draw a sewer line or gas main or put all your parts in one parts list and draw it, so Yes

I moved the pipes catalog to a folder on my network but the file is still read only so all of my changes are not saveable. is there a way to remove the write protection so we can add new part sizes?

Yeah, since most designers are using 3rd party softwares autodesk doesn't really improve the pipe network designing parts...
