Please follow these steps to learn:
1) Watch the image and simply listen to get a feel for the sound. Don’t worry about understanding the meaning, yet. Recognize what is familiar and unfamiliar!
2) Read your printed text as I recite the passage. Consult the images, marginal notes, and other resources as you have need. Repeat until you understand everything. Comment if you are stuck!
3) Read out loud with me, repeating everything right after me. Be dramatic and envision the scenes in your mind. Be sure to distinguish long and short vowels!
4) Enjoy the fruit of your labour, and listen to spoken Latin at a standard pace with understanding! Repeat as often as you want.
