Leave it fingers that stuff Just apply required valen electrons - available valen electrons = No of electrons And divide No of electrons /2 here comes your no of bonds/bond order For example CO Available valence electrons 4+6=10 Required valence electrons are 8+8 =16 Subtract 16-10=6 electrons Divide 6 electrons /2 =3 Here no of bonds /bond order are three Write it all on rough try it ..twice Thank me later
