@10:46 direction of the overall dipole is not on Sulfur...Oxygen is more eletronegative, therefore the overall dipole moment is going on negative y axis.. the length of the vector must be longer on Oxygen...even if there is a lone pair on the central atom

No, there is only one lone electron available not a pair, hence it's geometry is linear. In case of BF2 lone pair electrons = 3-2(1) = 1 No of lone pair = 1/2
