I'm glad The Alliance is going to get more of Aethas Sunreaver. He's actually a really cool character, and we don't interact with him much. I like doing his sad world quest too, where you pick up the stuffed animals for him. He's really holding it down in the ruins. It's nice that we're getting to spend some time with him.

The Light did that and they were likely not dead just wounded and that in a simple way, while Khadgar messes up his very own essence with his turning into arcane energy to survive being sucked into an ancient artefact. Obviously a bit harder to heal than just a cut with a sword.

Mana bombs were first developed by mages who betrayed the Kirin Tor and sided with Kael’thas. There’s a quest line in Burning Crusade where you have to stop them from actually using several of them. They weren’t big and powerful, but were essentially tactical nuclear weapons. Horde players can get one through the BC timewalking vendor actually. But, the larger one in this was a secondary one to the one that was dropped on Theramore. It’s a very slight retcon, but essentially the Kirin Tor had replicated the ones developed by Kael’thas’ forces, and upscale them dramatically in order to see if it could be done. One of them, the one that was dropped on Theramore, was stolen and actually used. This one was just kept within the vaults of the Violet Hold and happened to have survived the destruction of Dalaran.

Right so Khadgar is a strong straight white male, it's obviously a problem. It's impossible to kill Khadgar because he's a protagonist with plot armor. They can't turn him evil or make him look like the bad guy. They can't make him gay or black. So they must make him disabled. 10/10 writing at its finest. Not to mention Anduin's strictly european white family is now directly related to a black woman. And because of his looks they keep him acting like a sissy with mental issues in what is supposed to be a redemtion arc because otherwise he would look too strong as a straight white male.

Yeah, no injury is ever relevant in the story if you think about it too much. Why did Zul'Jin lose an arm and an eye permanently when Trolls regenerate? Why does Faerin not just get a light forged arm? Why is anyone ever blind? Why does any death matter when you can go to the shadow lands or just get the most powerful priests you got to resurrect everyone constantly. The answer is: cause that's not what the story wants to be about. So it's gonna be a magic wheelchair, cause Khadgar had a magical injury. We got over this sort of stuff ages ago. ...I do agree that the visual of a floating wheelchair is kinda silly though, at least put some magical bits and bobs on it so the moving around is somewhat explained. Some wheelchair-arcane disk hybrid or something

Trolls can control their regeneration but only if they are in good relationship with their loa. But besides this, yeah... injuries in world where even water can heal. Meh..

Yall will never let that go. Its been retconned by Blizz that Aethas was in the wrong and gave the horde access to the alliance portal network within Dal to steal the bell. Far as killing while the quest has that lore dosnt reflect it, they was sent to prison or banished from Dal during its purge. Aethas and Jaina have made up and gotten over it. Time you do too. Both was in the wrong but it was Aethas who started that boulder down the hill. Horde and Alliance have done awful things to each other but they tired of it and trying to move on. Ya know cuz its boring and blizz can only do so much cuz players will argue and be upset over faction balance n yada yada yada.
