My (heavenly grandmother)'s house is 200 meters from where you were taking your bath in Psili Ammos. I have no words picking your videos up when you were taking your drinks in Alimos that I catch you up on my yiayia's front yard enjoying your time. You are going places most of us have distanced from. We have become too mainstream to venture around. Bless you ! P.S. - Salamina has great pistachios. We had a neighbor with Pistachio trees and they were awesome.

Very nice😃 We really like Psili Ammos! Very nice that you have a house there😍 So we need to try the pistachio in Salamina then!😃 Thank you for the tip!💙

Nice video girls, I enjoy it very much. 1) They are 2 words that sound the same but are spelled differently because they have different meanings: α) ψιλή / psili = thin (sand) and β) ψηλή / psili = tall (woman or something female). Ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου = Church of the Dormition/Sleep of the Virgin Mary. (Because the Saints don't die, but sleep) Να έχετε ένα υπέροχο καλοκαίρι και να δούμε τον Αλέξανδρο να μεγαλώνει και να ομορφαίνει!
@athenswives7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much😃❤️ and thank you for the clarification on the word psili😊 So in this case the meaning is not "long/tall"😅
@ΑπόλλωνΘηρευτής7 ай бұрын
@@athenswives Yes. The second word actual is : υψηλή / ipsili from the word ύψος / height but in everyday talking the first i is cut

I am Greek myself but for 15 years lived in the UK so I only knew how amazin it was in the Summer but now that I am back in Greece in the winter it gets cold most of the times and it rains sometimes so its not all the time hot but still a beautiful place.
@athenswives7 ай бұрын
Yes, the winter can be really cold with rain and even snow!🙃 But then you have a long hot summer😎☀️🏖️ Yes, Greece is beautiful🥰

Psili ammos means "thin sand". In greek we have 2 words that sound the same but they are different Ψηλος (tall) (e.g. a tall woman) and Ψιλός (thin, slim) (e.g. thin or fine sand)
@athenswives7 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for clarifying that!😊 It's a little bit confusing when the words sound exactly the same😅 Thank you for watching🥰❤️
@vtecharrys.69816 ай бұрын
Yes, it actually "fine sand". The English language has many more words spelled the same that have many different meanings. In Greek the #1 word that has many meanings is "plaka". For example: Piga sti Plaka, na spasw plaka, epese i plaka, me ekane plaka, evgala plaka, etsi gia plaka 😉

Hello! Please, do consider taking an umbrella with you at the beach. After all these years in Greece you surely know it is necessary if you plan staying for hours on the beach, regardless using a sunblock. The Sun can be dangerous. And remember, off the shores of Salamina took place one of the most important battles in the entire of History. Many historians consider it *the* most important battle in History, the one that defined the Western Civilization like no other. Thank you both for making this video! Regards

Was on Salamina some times. It changes. Before was more wild, authentic and cheap. Now most part of Athens citizens prefer have there their summer cottages, so property cost rised up and island gonna be more commercial 🏝

Hey ladies its me again. Check out patitiri beach and peristeria. Not far from each other. The only thing is you will need a car. Its pretty far from paloukia..These beaches are facing Aegina island.. There's also some nice little beaches on the other side in the Resti/Galini area. One that i can think of is where Thea (θέα)elegant event is. You walk downstairs and you see it on your left. If you continue on that main road you will find nice little ones also..
