I just saw one of these on ‘a forum’ and immediately ordered one for myself. It’s a really attractive look, and the handful of Kershaw manual flippers I already own have wonderful action. Hopefully this one is just as good.

Kershaw fan here, too. I really love their design language for the 2023 lineup. This one in particular. Great profile, nice lines on the scales, cool blade shape, murdered out; I dig everything about it. It's on my list to grab as a good 'use it around the house for everything' kind of knife. The range of options shows Kershaw really does cater to everybody's wants/needs. Thanks for showing this one off so I could get a better look at it! 👍 Glad you talked about Kershaw's D2 and the detent/centering issues some other knife guys are having. Well the only one I think has been Kev 😆Everybody else seems to think they're pretty solid. Bad ones happen but I'd like to see him get a 'good' one and see if his opinion changes. Besides he quasi-compared it to a $200 BM knife...not really on the same playing field but what're ya gonna do? 🤷‍♂

Another design that they need to do a ZT version of. I'm waiting for the Kershaw Livewire to come in stock somewhere that will ship to California so I can play with one

D2 properly heat treated holds an edge better than my spyderco s30v (at least a couple of them I own.) Also a tip with the heist careful not to fat palm the handle when closing. I accidentally sliced my palm when swinging it shut.

Does the edge of the pocket get stuck over the top of the handle in the clip? I've seen this happen with similar clip designs and is the only reason I'm hesitant to pick one up.

I think some of the people having problems with “Kershaw” knives have actually got their hands on a knockoff. Serious problem when buying on Amazon, across a myriad of products manufactured in China. Seems like knockoffs beat the authentic product to market.

Could be.. However Kershaw produces enormous knife runs and sadly their QC suffers for it.

Does it lock shut? We ordered one and you have to pull the lock to open it.
