The greatest. Sammy died at only 24. He was the first Kenyan to win the Olympic gold medal. His Olympic record still stands today even the great Eliud Kipchoge could not break it when he won gold in 2016 and 2021. Rest in peace Samuel Kamau Wanjiru.

Right. But every human is capable of running under 3 hours if they work for it. In the elite section it's only matter of minutes that determines who wins. One thing for sure, I never get tired of watching these world class performances. Visualisation is very important for success.

Wow real good point. Let alone heart frequency or blood pressure , if I am not even feeling right , running feels hard.

i wonder why the first two were so short, short legs intuitively seem like a disadvantage...
@mohammadosman15444 жыл бұрын
Shorter legs mean shorter people, thus less body weight to carry. It's not really a disadvantage. Can be as good as any runner if you work hard.

Holy shit. Imagine being Merga, you make it all the way into the stadium, and are then overtaken, into 4th place, meters from earning a bronze medal. Small consolation that it was a fellow Ethiopian that overtakes you. Still, gotta be sickening.
