We have just finished 10’days isolation whilst on holiday!!! End of the first week my Claire felt ill, had a test and was positive, so we spent the rest of the holiday isolating. At least it was sunny and we could see the sea from where we were staying!!

Had to isolate for 10 days tested positive on my 9rh day ended up seriously ill with Covid pneumonia 7 months later I'm still ill with long Covid. You guys cheer me up hopefully you all stay healthy xx

Wimps! 10 days of isolation is nothing 😆 From someone who was shielding. I spent 4 months in absolute 100% isolation and I live alone! In March 2020 I thought that it was going to be absolutely horrific, but I actually enjoyed it (I work 'virtually' from home) so, not a lot changed in that respect. I spent my evenings on family and friends 'Zoom' calls and movie/quiz nights. I spent my weekends completing mega jigsaw puzzles, having a whole weekend on pampering/yoga sessions. I'd go for really early morning walks - which was lovely, and also spent a lot of time researching my family history. Furthermore, I actually really enjoyed the solitude and enjoyed the peace and quiet and not HAVING to be somewhere I didn't really want to be. I loved Isolation...😂

We got stuck in when our lad got Covid, we painted the garden fence the rear wall the garden shed, basically anything static in 80 degree heat, drove me nuts, but the takeaway curry's were a saviour

Red Wine Breathe....it depends if its an old wine and in general you will need to decant the wine into a wine decanter to eliminate some of the off odours. If its something you got from Tesco's then it doesn't have much impact, if you use an aerator (aerates as you pour it) it can help, but not much.

You can always decant the red wine or use an aerator if you want to avoid leaving it to breath for longer in the bottle.

Freedom day 19th July just happened to be my 30th birthday... it also happened to be the day my son tested positive after his class bubble closing the previous Wednesday. Then my partner had a positive test on Saturday! We are now on day 4 of isolation again! Touch wood i have avoided it. I will celebrate my 30th but it will probably be on my next birthday at this rate! Great blog this week guys xxx
