A heart-breaking theme of a singular love between two people of the the Quendi and Atani that never came to pass. But then those who came after made history, and those who loved one another without hope kept their honour and made it to Valinor and beyond at last, and their memory remains with us still.

beautiful! It's a shame this discussion got stuck in an obscure book rather than being put with the rest of the Silmarillion, because it is really quite important. Also adorkable.

I love this story yet find your music a bit discordant in the beginning and you are not allowing enough time to read the text that is a bit too faint to read easily. The art work is wonderful! Thank you for your effort and the music that is eventually lovely and so appropriate.

The music is intentionally discordant at the beginning to show that humans and elves do not understand each other. That understanding increases during the piece and they mesh well at the end looking forward to the story of Beren and Luthien. I apologise for the amount of text. There is so much that I wanted to include but could not. I suppose I could have made the music longer.
