Question: Are the parts of the nephron split into the renal cortex and renal medulla for all nephrons (like you said how filtration occurs in the renal cortex) including juxtamedullary nephrons and cortical nephrons? I thought cortical nephrons make up most of the kidney and their renal tubules and loop of henle still fall within the cortex. Please correct me if I am wrong.

you are saying that extra glucose will go to bladder and after that will exit the body with the urine? I heard that only happens if the person is diabetic, its not normal to pee the glucose. the normal for it is the get stored and again unless the person have diabetes. urine should not contain glucose if the person doesnt have diabetes !
@thetutor_geek Жыл бұрын
I didn't say it was "Normal". I said "if there is too much glucose, it will get pee'd out" this is True. Yes, it happens if someone is pre-diabetic or diabetic. It can also happen if someone just has too much sugar in a day. My point is, if you have too much sugar, you are going to pee it out. Have you seen lab values in a clinical setting? very possible to have low levels of glucose in the urine without having diabetes. Normal levels are between o.o-o.8 mmoL/L.
