i was a bit confused about the last question. I thought it was going to be an "opinion" because it looked like generalized information without any actual support. what will you say is the best way to know "facts" and "opinion", except using the explanation of "facts" is when statistics are shown . the last question didn't show that
@NurseCheung Жыл бұрын
Of course. Here are some additional tips to help differentiate facts from opinions: Objective Language: Facts are typically presented using objective and neutral language, focusing on verifiable information. Opinions, on the other hand, often contain subjective language and reflect personal beliefs or feelings. Source Reliability: Assess the credibility of the source providing the information. Reliable sources are more likely to provide factual data, while less reputable sources might be biased and present opinions. Consensus Among Experts: If a piece of information is widely accepted and supported by experts in the field, it is more likely to be a fact. Opinions might differ among individuals. Verifiability: Facts can often be verified by cross-referencing with other reputable sources, while opinions are subjective and not necessarily subject to verification. Context: Consider the context in which the information is presented. In certain situations, something might be presented as a fact, while in others, it could be an opinion. Evidence and Support: Facts are usually backed by evidence, research, or data, making them more concrete. Opinions may lack substantial evidence. Keep practicing and honing your critical thinking skills, and you'll become more confident in differentiating between the two. Good luck in your studies! 😊📚

Where do you get your review questions? Do you come up with them yourself or pass TEAs test?
@NurseCheung3 жыл бұрын
Great question Kenady Koehler ☺️💜 I have obtained my questions from my own personal experience taking the ATI TEAS exam, inspiration from study guides by the ATI TEAS, and review courses inspiration.

understanding main idea? what i understood from this video is that we have to read and guess for an answer hopping that its the best and correct answer. I dont see that this video gives any idea or hints on how to find the correct answer and ace this exam!
@NurseCheung Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the feedback, asmaa 😊 In general, you will need to read the passage and ascertain what you believe the main idea is. I have updated videos on version 7 ATI TEAS that go more in-depth on how to find the main idea and passage topics to help you conclude the answer. I recommend watching those to build on your foundation and then re-watching my question review series to help build on the foundation.

Nurse Cheung, Is there any way you could do another review on FACTS vs OPINION stories. Those are alot deeper than I expected. Its hars to distinguish an opinion when the author uses alot of facts.
