I actually really like that scene. It contrasts greatly to North wanting you(Markus) to leave Simon on the roof. Simon just wants Markus to be safe, he doesn't actually want North dead. So he says something he doesn't believe. Here's another example of that: Luther wants you to shoot at the checkpoint. If you don't, you gain relationship points. I feel like moments like that help shape the characters as complex people who don't always want what they say they do.

The one for Markus is clearly partially based on that line from earlier on & partially based on ones own choices. However, either way, itd make more sense for Kara's if it either were: "Im the android sent to kill Zlatko." If chosen to remain with kill. Or "Im the android sent to protect Alice." When I hear this music, I just see in my mind all of my story... Connor who wanted to accomplish his missions whatever it takes, Markus who wanted to live in a better world without create destruction and violence, and Kara who just wanted a daughter and to protect Alice. All the images of my story pass before my eyes: from the first mission of Connor who tried to save Emma from Daniel, Markus who tries to find Jericho, and to finish with Kara at Jericho who tries to escape the police with all the chaos around her and Alice. And finally, all the characters simply meet each others on the boat. This is the story I wanted to create with this game. And I did, I did it perfectly like I wanted. Such a wonderfull game.

Eva De Jong Yeah I know. Usually if you aren't a well established composer like John Williams, they give you a temp track. And ask you to compose something similar with the temp track. The composer of this piece probably took one of Yann Tiersen pieces as a temp track.
