Well done Bob & Tim! It's hard to imagine this gem being disrespected by re-industrialization. We must stop it from being ruined again.

Great little video journal of a journey I have never done even though I grew up in the Howe Sound and canoed the Squamish river with my father when I was 3. You have encouraged and enticed me to take the family along the marine trail from Tidally (Caulfield) Cove to the mouth of the Squamish. Gratitude!

I live in Princeton, or as some like to put it, "beyond Hope". Moved here from the coast and it took a good 10 years to get rid of all the rain that we had from 1944-2000.

As a former resident of Woodfibre, I was a witness to the putrid pollution its pulp mill spewed into Howe Sound. I don't want to see it spoiled again.

What a great introduction to the Sea to Sky Marine trail. This is a bucket list paddle. I notice that Porteau cove campsites are booked full so early. How do you find the other campsites along the trail. I know they are first come first serve. Do they get full?

Hi Bob. I'd like to thank you for your great video and ask if you mind my organization adding it to our web site. We're the Trails Society of BC (aka Trails BC), a non-profit society and the provincial partner of the Trans Canada Trail. I've added your video to our page that covers the Sea to Sky Marine Trail, as it is part of the Trans Canada Trail: trailsbc.ca/tct/lower-mainland/howe-sound I'm looking forward to paddling the "trail" later this summer.
