The belief was how the camber in those cars were set up. Im not a car expert, but I know the commentators were talking about that after a radio conversation between Chase and Gustafson talking about the blown tires.
@BDeLuca44442 жыл бұрын
@@buggytheclownclown1989 The teams set up the camber, some went more aggressively, which is the belief that those that spun had an aggressive camber set up, while others, such as the HMS cars, were more conservative, which is why their tires didn't go flat while leading long stints. More aggressive camber set ups supposedly helped with speed and handling, which is why some teams went that direction.

I see why they put the number in the front. When the camera is on these cars the number is always at the back (and then they start the motor and go to the pits.) I love that the cars would probably not be so hard to drive if it wasn't for the steering rack and Independent Rear Suspension. The fact that the same smart people made steering boxes and truck arm solid axles drive apparently amazing is funny. I can't wait to see how many wrecks the Super Teams will indure with a car before they figure our how to euthanize it and start with one that is fresh and un bound/fatigued. Clipping cars is what they do to sell it to Ganassi or Fox Sports.

These cars need to be put out of service and go back to the previous car. Low-profile tires constantly blowing out (especially right rears), cars undriveable if they get touched from any direction in the draft, no downforce, they are unsafe for drivers. Ruins the racing, with all these spinouts and blown tires. It's now clearly the car's design mistakes, not anything to do with learning curves. NASCAR, admit your failure for once.

@@johnhaas2523 oh right John, you keep saying that, but unfortunately no one around here is convinced by your repetition of falsehoods. The facts clearly oppose your viewpoint. We all see it but you and one or two other clunker-brains. In 40 years of watching NASCAR races, I've never seen the number of unforced wrecks that I've seen since this NextGen car was put in. So we all need to keep the pressure on NASCAR to admit defeat and allow teams to race the old cars. The only thing this race that didn't happen was a wheel fly off. But I'm not betting it won't come back and be seen in the next race. The new track surface at Atlanta chewed up tires before the wheels had a chance to fracture, I think.
