For anyone planning to visit Talladega, trust me, you want to rent an RV and pay the high price to stay in the infield RV parking thats in the middle of turns 3/4 for literally the best seats in the house.

spacecalander: "Yelling" is how Burton & Co. commentate most all their races. I'm looking forward to Fox next year where the announcers realize that we're not all hard of hearing and just want to see cars racing each other instead of a helmet, bumper, hood, door, or visor cam view while we miss whats really happening which causes another replay.

Yep it was an instant classic. Talladega and Daytona have been raced the very same way since 1988 it's the same racing we had during the boom years of NASCAR and that made the sport popular.

NASCAR ruled the #6 of Newman crowded Blaney when Blaney made his attempt to get around Newman. Imo, it was the right call. If Newman won the race, he perhaps would've been the one penalized for blocking, just like Sauter was in the truck race on Saturday. That said, I hate the rule. It's the last lap. Anything goes, so to speak.

Therr has been more plate races than not in the recent years where the cars worth watching get taken out and then we're stuck watching cars that aren't worth watching run for the win.

The announcers NEED to place some blame on these wrecks! The first "Big One" was the 22 dumping him because he was pissed he was going to kill his run into turn 3. The second was the same thing the 1 being pissed his brother killed his run off turn 2 pushed him relentlessly, recklessly, and without benefit for either! It especially was not a measured veteran reaction but that off a 13 year old on a video game!!!

They were already nearing the finish line so NASCAR kept it green. If the wreck was more severe, they might've thrown the caution.

Why, Newman deserves that win because he could of wreck the field when denny was drafting him, one of the best wheel man I've ever seen in nascar. Should have won that race.
