How do you get an apartment if you’re moving from Florida to ATL need some help and ideas

When I was searching for apartments I went through an apartment locator call aptamigo. www.aptamigo.com I had my own personalize agent helping me find apartments in the Atlanta area, but they only service certain parts of Atlanta depending on where you want to live. But usually online they will show you their availability on what apartments they have and when you would like to move in. Sometimes they can do virtual tours or you can schedule a tour when you get here, but it would be best to kind of already have a place set in in mind before moving here. If I didn’t go through them I used apartments.com, typed in my budget and scheduled my own tours. Most of them were asking for 3x the rent, check stubs from work and 1st rent + security deposit

Also, as long as you have the money to move in, and a certain credit score depending on the apartment that you want to move into, you should be good because it’s pretty easy finding an apartment here in Atlanta. It’s not super hard and it’s not a major waiting list like bigger cities. Unless you are trying to move into an apartment building that is very high in demand and they are fully occupied, then there may be a waiting list but other than that, usually they’ll just tell you when the apartment is available.

I’m not sure, it depends on the unit and layout you are looking to move it. If a tenant is planning to move out soon, the leasing office will let you know when that apartment will be available. Other than that you can move into the units they have available at anytime, as long as you are ready to move in and quality for all the needs of the apartment

Yes, all of these apartments required 3x the rent. But, you have to bring in a gross income of 3xs the rent. I mean obviously what you bring home, you want to make sure you can pay the rent, but yes that’s what was required for all of the apartments I’ve looked at.

Yes, I do agree that the prices in these apartments definitely went up and are ridiculous, but they are definitely worth every dime. I know a house would cost the same, but everyone is in different places in their life. If a house is what they want, I’m all for buying a house, if they decide to move into an Apartment, that’s their own decisions as well. But thanks for watching, I just wanted to share this amazing apartment with others that’s looking for an apartment as well. In my opinion, I would absolutely pay for this apartment, with negotiations of course because this apartment was beautiful. But I definitely value your opinion as well, because the general public wouldn’t be able to afford this type of apartment with the prices they are renting them for, and would be better off buying a house. But a lot comes with buying a home, which goes back to me saying everyone’s situation is different.
