Atlanta Metro Shooting Sends Woman To Hospital

A woman shot while inside her car in a metro Atlanta county is recovering after a bullet fired by another motorist struck her shoulder.
The suspect is still at large.
Update 10/22/2020:
investigators confirm that they responded to a call of a person shot at 692 Powder Springs Road. The woman had been shot to the arm while driving on Garrison Road at Pearl Street (unincorporated Cobb County jurisdiction). The woman was transported to Kennestone with a non-life threatening wound to her arm. There is no suspect information to release at this time.

Great employees at this QT. very important to note that the QT was NOT involved. It is merely where the victims pulled over and sought refuge after being shot by another motorist while driving on the street.

@@shaunwatson7485 yep. Considering where they were that was probably the safest place they could get to quickly. According to what investigators told me, the victims stated to 911 they were not from the area. They spotted the QT, ducked in there and that’s how police were able to locate them.

i wasn't able to get any suspect info so far so not sure if male or female or multiple suspects. no suspect vehicle description at this time. what i was able to get confirmed came from Marietta PD however Cobb County PD will be handling the investigation going forward as this is technically their jurisdiction.
