Love the move to go to Penix for these last 3 games. Whether it is mental, physical (arm shot after so many games at 36yrs) or both, it's clearly not our best chance to try and squeeze in the playoffs. Hope for the best. Love hearing you 3 always talk Atlanta Falcons football.

Wrong Josh Allen runs , Lamar Jackson runs , it’s not just running - it’s pocket awareness that he doesn’t seem to do to extend the play, running quarterback’s doesn’t mean they’ll get hurt more it’s any qb look at Kirk injury before he signed , you can extend a play or run and still protect yourself by sliding or running out of bounds, but taking sacks and interceptions, interceptions for TDs, it’s embarrassing how he just crushed then lost it all , accuracy, timing, footwork is terrible, like watching a guy that just signed off the street , he’s constantly confused and no confidence, running and Dfense is great , just Kirk Cousins doing dumb things, he stopped throwing to Kyle Pitts , the easiest target is your Tight End , he’s not himself, hesitates and seems like teams figured him out by doing the same progression or something that’s a tell and throwing it no where near receiver or just timing is not close , why is Pitts not getting any targets most 2 in these games , beginning Pitts was the guy who made you guess where and made tough catches on bad throws

​@@RomanCzar-g8o Pitts stops his routes and can't seem to catch the ball. The receivers have not been getting open either. It's so obvious watching other teams' receivers and then watch the Falcons. Per Kurt Warner (who ACTUALLY knows what he is talking about) “So, to me, they are out of sync in terms of the timing within this offense. I’m seeing Kirk double clutch quite often and he’s kind of holding it back there like what is my guy going to do? For a couple of those other interceptions, it was the same thing.” Robinson has been such predictable play caller. There have been so many times on a 3rd and one, they run the ball and the opposing team stops it cold. Kirk doesn't call the plays by the way. In the Raiders game, Robinson called a run play on every first down in the first half. How is any QB supposed to get into a rhythm when he is only throwing on third downs? Coaches are supposed to get the best out the players, not sabotage them. And you don't need to be a mobile QB to run play action. Stafford is not any more mobile than Kirk is and the Rams are doing play action at one of the highest rates in the league. The Rams are 8-6 and first in their division. Let's not forget the number of crazy penalties that have killed drives and then Robinson has terrible play calls for 3rd down. The o-line is 21st in pass protection. And the top teams in NFL? Their o-lines are top 10. How is Kirk supposed to set his feet when the o-line is always getting pushed into his lap? Until the pass protection and Robinson play calling improve, it won't matter who is playing QB.

That's on Zac Robinson. His offense doesn't use the TE much. Kirk has always used the TE extensively so that's on on the OC and Pitts himself.

I think this sets up well for Penix. They like to run the outside stretch to the right side behind Lindstrom/McGary and with Penix being left handed that is perfect for him to play action off of into a rollout to the other side.

I was on the fence when they hired him and I was rooting for him but to be struggling with this roster and schedule is embarrassing. That's why you spend the big bucks for a coach. They just want to blame coaching, when the fact that QB play is what get coaches fired. Coaching can be an issue, but changing that has not worked for the falcons. Someone has to rift the ship.

The Falcons’ coaching staff are idiots and Robinson needs to be fired. Kirk is one of the best at play action passing and yet.....the Falcons have used play action at one of the lowest rates in the league. And then after the bye, Morris stated that they were going to do more play action and they used it even LESS. So not using play action is clearly not working…so the solution is to bench the quarterback instead of fixing the obvious problem??? The exact same thing happened to the Vikings in 2018 in Kirk’s first season. The play action play calls were bottom of the league and the offense hadn't scored 24+ points in six straight games. Zimmer fired his OC and did not bench Kirk. The very next game, the interim OC called a lot more play action and the Vikings scored 41 points in a blow-out win. Seems like it was the play calls. Funny how that works.

The Falcons Franchise really outdid themselves this time. As a 35 Year Fan i've seen some really bad moves but this one takes the cake. The best example of 2 alternate worlds with similar situations is how Tampa Bay whos had a similar season with a QB that people wanted to give up on who lost 2 games against Atlanta & Kirk Cousins in 3 weeks to not panic & stay the course & move 1 game ahead of the Falcons. This is embarrassing & to add insult to injury they pulled this stunt after ending the losing streak.

That’s wasn’t really a convincing win against a 2 win team, where our offense scored 13 points and the Raiders had a chance to win it at the end still. Kirk is 1:9 TD to int over the last 5 weeks

Kirk struggled the first 3 weeks they didn't give up on him. He played good for a 4 game stretch then had a horrendous 5 game stretch. You wanna give him the whole contract before you seen enough? He should have been benched after the charger game. Those decisions were inexcusable. Because he's a 13 year vet he got one more chance in the revenge game against the Vikings. Ya we were tied after 3 but he threw picks when it mattered most. AGAIN. Should have sat him down going into the raider game so that Michael could have 2 games against crap teams to get his feet wet before Washington
