That contract is all of $25M/Year, with an added $10M if he’s still on the roster on the 5th day of the league year. It was a front loaded contract. It was never meant to last more than the second year to begin with. They likely hoped it didn’t go this way but Kirks play has just been inexcusable. Continuing to play him would definitely lose the locker room.
