What do you know. Alice Parker (12/16/1925-12/24/2023 according to Wikipedia) beat the December birthday odds when she passed. RIP Alice. This is one of my favorite pieces.

they make this sound easy. its not. even at this tempo. you can tell it was written for professional singers

I find this much better played 1.25x speed. It’s closer to the Robert Shaw version which I love ❤️
