On September 18th 2024, my life changed. My friend invited me to see Atlanta United and I thought what the heck, I've never been to a soccer match in my life, I never really cared for it but Messi was going to be playing and I love supporting anything Atlanta so I said why not? I walked into the Mercedes Benz Stadium for the first time and I instantly knew that something special was about happen. Little did I know just hop important this game was going to be. I knew not ONE thing about soccer when I watched, but blessedly it's a very easy sport to follow, and the feeling I got seeing that ball move up and down the field was one that I had never felt before. The anticipation I felt when Saba had the ball and got the first point against Miami is one I won't soon forget. The electricity and energy in the air is just different when Atlanta scores, and I knew from that moment I was hooked. Miranchuk scored his first goal that match as an equalizer in the end to get us the draw and I left the stadium with a rush similar to drugs. I left stupefied wondering how I waited so long to get into this incredible sport but so happy that I had my whole life ahead of me to enjoy it. Needless to say, I fell down a rabbit hole deeper than the Mariana Trench. I came in when everything was stacked against us and all the comments on IG and KZbin were convinced we were trash, the team was never going to be great again, and Atlanta had betrayed the fans. So much negativity, doubt, and anger coming from our own side. And now we're on a run like no other and it's so inspiring to see. I'm so happy I got into this Beautiful Game when I did, and I haven't even watched this video yet. Everything this video team does is phenomenal but I needed to get this out into the world. Thank you everyone who contributes to making these videos happen, thank you to the incredible team I've gotten to witness, thank you Rob Valentino for believing in this club and this city. I will never forget what this team has done for me and I can't wait to see where it goes next! ⚫🔴🚀VAMOS ATL🚀🔴⚫

This is an incredible and candid look behind the scenes for the last stretch of the season. It captured not only how bleak the slide down was with all of the start-stop momentum, but also the undercurrent of hope as we got some of the deadwood out of the team (coach and technical director). What an excellent job by the media team to take advantage of their international spotlight after they beat the "league's best team" and echoes of their win rang out across the world!
