Hi gilles, I have to agree, I was very surprised at the quality and amount of content in the game. I was attracted to the design and glad i spent the $ to win the bidding. =)

Every time I’m in my LGS I stop myself from buying things like this by telling myself that I don’t have enough money, space, or friends to warrant the purchase… but that solitaire mode is something I could sink a lot of time (and virtual ships) into.

Hi Thomas, thanks for watching. I agree, I plan to dig into the solitaire content, it looks pretty deep and I am intrigued by the game system.

As a rule I avoid GMT games due to their complexity.

Hi Campbella, thank you for watching. Fair point, especially with this game, it looks more complex than what is rated on the back of the box. Have you checked out the Michael Rinella solo games published by Revolution Games? very easy to learn games with a lot of replay ability. shameless plug.. here is a link to a video i did on how to play Manila - The Savage Streets. kzbin.info/www/bejne/al68XoWwgKuUjJY
