I just can't get over how it seems that no matter what is happening Khiara has a mile wide smile on her face. I would follow you just to be able to see that, and hearing Adam give in to his fake rage is hilarious. Love you both and get much pleasure from watching your journey. Hoping you have a wonderful summer in that part of the world. Take care, be safe andchasethose waves.

Brave is the man who deep fries in a skillet in open ocean without foulie bibs. Wonderful episode, really good editing. Millie is looking good. Love the new winches, the jack lines and preventers.

Like everyone else I find Khiaras smile infectious. Adam is always wise beyond his years. Watching a lot of sailing KZbinrs I always find the team dynamic that couples develop to be quite amazing. A great deal of respect and reliance on each other, each adding to the total sum. I spent quite a lot of my life flying where we were taught the benefits of that type of team environment. In the end it was just a natural & effective way to operate. Hope to follow your crossing soon.

1 reef, 2 reef, red reef, blue reef :) Red sky at night, sailors delight... Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.... Wind before rain, let your topsail fill again. Rain before wind, sheets and topsails mind... Fair winds and following seas to you two. ;)
@mckaypaterson25192 жыл бұрын
Some help to complete your doggerel. From my old 34th edition, 1963 book, Baden-Powell's "Scouting for Boys": 'When the wind's before the rain, soon you may set sail again. When the rain's before the wind, then your sheets and halyards mind.' Also ' Red (sky) at night shepherd's delight. Red in the morning shepherd's warning (i.e. rain). Yellow sunset means wind. Pale yellow sunset means rain. Dew and fog in early morning means fine weather. Low dawn means fine weather. High dawn means wind (high dawn is when the sun rises over a bank of clouds, high above the horizon). Soft clouds, fine weather. Hard-edged clouds, wind. Rolled or jagged clouds, strong wind.' Check it out with the forecasts especially as you near the British Islands. Happy travels! I enjoy your videos very much. Will donate to the beer fund when I have some spare cash. Covid, for me, has been a pain in you know where!

This quite the mixed-bag passage. I totally enjoyed the series, and thank you for the superb way of balancing all the circumstances, through the sailing, repairing, planning, recording, editing, and all the tech surrounding this adventure that you share with everyone. Thank you SO much!

Just did the sums. You averaged just under 759 Km a day. Your Nana Joan and I didn't drive that far towing our caravan around Australia. mind you you sailed for 24 hours a day, we were lazy, only drove for 6 to 8 hours. Loved the trip. Keep living your dream.
@curtisduncan80432 жыл бұрын
I believe your math is off; that would be 31.6 km/hour. Maybe 159km / day?
