I don't know how my dad found out about this place but for years and years we used to go there every single year I remember when I was born in 1953 my dad would cart me around in my stroller every year we would be there😊 without fail after a while when my dad retired we ended up in Tucson Arizona so when I saw your videos with you and your wife it brought tears to my eyes just reminded me of my mom and dad

Great video! Thanks for this! I'm thinking about moving there to play poker full-time and it looks really good in the summer! I saw a recent video from last year that was filmed in February and A.C. was looking pretty rough and dead so a resident would have to be a snowbird to dip out of there in the winter.

AC is usually my last resort in a small getaway. I noticed you didn’t go to the Mall. Is it totally gone now? I haven’t been in about 4 years. Nice video though… Might go for a day trip before it gets cold.

I remember going to the boardwalk way back when that was the 1953 even my dad used to work for GM so we used to go down there for 3-4 weeks for the general motors show is to see cars of the future thousands of people used to walk up and down that boardwalk even at night there's nothing like the smell of the ocean

Nicely done, beautiful day and maybe even makes me want to pay a visit there again after so many years, but what's with all the enthusiasm for all the chain establishments? You don't have to travel very far to go to those places and I would avoid them while going to Atlantic City, or any vacation destination for that matter (maybe make an exception for Starbucks).

There are free beaches in the WildWoods. The spray painting under the piers is graffiti not murals. I much prefer Ocean City boardwalk or Wildwood boardwalk.

This is like seeing AC for the first time because everything is different from the days we often went there. New shops, outdoor dining, beach dining, restaurants and so much cleaner. We were told never to walk the boardwalk at night by the bus line. Went to Tropical Rainforest and the famous candy/ salt water shop. Ripley’s was there and the large boat that had 2 floors of shopping, Golden Nugget, Caesars, Taj, ect. I told you about the Atlantic City Boardwalk Cats and you can see the stories about them on the internet. Read more about them last night so they apparently are still there. I believe there are still a few free beaches available. We didn’t know that Stone Harbor you needed a pass until a beach patrol saw us, no problem and Cape May is another fee but I am pretty sure Wildwood is free but a very long hike with beach gear from sand to water. I watched the Coney Island adventure and I buy Nathan’s all beef hotdogs but I am sure they taste better in Coney Island! Lol Cheeseburger was huge ❤!

Thanks for watching us and all this great info.. I'll be back there soon and will look for the cats. Yes I am seeing some improvement in this boardwalk and want to see it like it used to be. 👍😎❤️

Drives me nuts you have to pay... The day before we were at 2 other boardwalks and it was a disaster for people trying to get on the beach. Long lines cooler checks but I get it. I guess.

Wildwood, Wildwood Crest and North Wildwood beaches are all free. Believe it or not, they are three different Town's right next to each other. Been going there since 1959... No charge. Don't know if the poster is correct in that all beaches Atlantic City and south are free. But that would be great.
