would you rather cross the atlantic with a lagoon 55 or an amel 60 ? short handed
@IgorStropnik3 жыл бұрын
Never sailed Amel 60 but i would chose it over Lagoon because of easier access to boom and main sail, no need to climb on flybridge, probably faster, more fun to sail. With Lagoon you get catamaran stability, catamaran problems if wind is 180deg and very nice saloon living area. I would take Amel 60 for my next trip because I would like to try his good reputation and I was not happy with Lagoon 50 performance and technical design.

@IgorStropnik4 жыл бұрын
Flybridge I like a lot on 450. On 450 you can close it well and takes 30+ knots easily. There is enough space for 8 people to hang around but you don't see what is going on downstairs so dangerous with kids. L50 fly is not that good. Sport top has other advantages like easy access, good overview of people on board.

@@rightright6582 7kn is good speed for any sailing vessel. But in 25kn I would expect more from L50. Sail plan and hull shape is too conservative. But it is OK as this is comfortable cruiser for charter. We sailors just want boat to sail,fly,glide througt water. Old lagoons of this size would double the speed.
