Think water with clean wazer or saltless water is under water so it keeps cool?do you need fill up to keep pressire upinside dome?or does it foll up itself once you started it off . Youd get salt too?

The best sailing videos KZbin! I was searching for your last Croatia video with the Hobie FX ONE and then found this one. I've watched the other one 3 times at least. Your adventures inspired me to learn to sail last year and I now have a 14 foot Wanderer dinghy cruiser. My first mini adventure is planned for the end of May this year in the English Lake District. Keep up the great videos!

I hated doing capsize drills on the 16 as a teenager. It was me and another teenage sailor, and our combined mass was probably 130-140 kg. It got the point where my one of us would have to hook the righting line into the trapeze harness. The crew would then stand on top of the anchor bar, grab the righting line, and lean further away (increases lever length). We fell into the water so many times when one of us lost our footing.

Not pretending to be an expert but seems to me the issue with that genoa is that its too big for where the traveler is located so you don't have enough backward pull to shape it appropiately and so that's why you have to add that extra line. If you had a track or something with a car pushed back you would be able to pull it nicely without having to add that extra line :0

You want the bottom to be cool because the difference between the heat and the cool causes the water to condense. Large scale solar stills use a glass or metal panel at an angle that has a cooling coil on the outside if it. This makes the panel cooler than the humid hair above the water supply so the water condenses on the panel faster, and slides down into the collection trough.

There is such a load of Bs to find on the internet about anchor and anchoring. Longer chain and then more chain, thinker chain, bigger anchor and never use a morning ball. Nobody talks about sea bed and if there is a place at the bottom to dig in. Bigger and heavier or more chain is often not better ! If the anchor structure wise can hold with 1000kg than the slight stronger chain is needed. No point to make is stronger. Like a 3000 kg limit on the chain . The idea that weight of a chain helps the anchor is nonsense. The first part of the chain will help the anchor to set / dig in. But 20 meter of chain laying a round at the Sea bottom is totally nuisance. It’s that first part of the chain that helps the anchor to set. The rest could be line or cable. Lines are safe against lightning strikes. Lines are lighter. Less weight in the bow . Your anchor winch does not have to haul 50 meter of weight back in. But and that’s my biggest concern.. why do people weigh down the bow with 200 kg of metal? It doesn’t make the boat sail any better
